Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Opinion: Fatal Frame is the best use of the Gamepad yet

I thought the same for the first 15 minutes, then it became an annoyance doing the same thing over and over, fighting against the tracking to get it to do what you want it to do.

I'm with you on this, perfect integration of the gamepad in gameplay.
I just wish I wasn't such a... don't know any word in english... coward? xD
I played the demo, was killed by the kids and couldn't take it any more. Now I have my beautiful SE sealed waiting for me to play it, sell it or something.
Anyone wants to play as I watch? haha Damn! I almost died of a heart attack playing Zombi U, I really really love that game, but somehow I can't with this one, maybe it's because of the criket bat, that feels more powerful than a Canon Eos 100D haha ;P

I've played the demo and my life was very low, I got my health in full bar, due to i think i've got those full restore items.  I don't know where can I find the inventory though. Maybe it is just the demo hence i couldn't find the inventory.

Fatal Frame is a good use of the gamepad, along with ZombiU and SMM. Splatoon, you can use a normal controller and just one click of a button would show a map then use the directional or left analog stick to navigate which touch point you want to go.

I just feel that precision movement should have been updated for FF V as I couldn't move properly for a few times.

I enjoy Splatoon's use of the Gamepad a lot. Easy access to map, super jump, and use of some special weapons. It's a great way of integrating the Gamepad screen without it being distracting.

There's an item called a mirrorstone that, if you're carrying one, restores you to full health when you run out. You must have had one of those.

And while the tank controls can't be fixed, cranking the turnspeed sensitivity way up made a big difference for me.
