So I'm like the only one who doesn't buy products I don't approve of?

Um... Ok.

Unfortunately the vocal gamers are the minority while the majority are casual/mainstream gamers that get sucked into purchases through constant marketing. So even if the ones making all the noise do protest with their wallets it wouldnt even make a scratch in EAs pockets.

I cannot be too mean since this is the same in every industry (*cough* *cough* music industry *cough* *cough*).

Change like that would only work when you are part of the majority who are already railing against a bad game, this isn't going to be the case for Battlefront though, it's going to sell millions and EA has a 10 year deal with Disney so I don't see much changing anytime soon.

Also if it was a mom & pop store then not buying in some droves would actually cause a change to happen, with a company the size of EA with millions upon millions that give into their practices means there is little chances of change, saying "don't like it don't buy it" has no meaning there.

I'm glad that I don't have to buy Ubisofts crap or shitty ports and instead give my money to those that make good games and give me great ports than simply not buying anything and waiting for something big to happen to something I originally wanted to change.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

People need to realise that we, gamers, aren't rich enough to sustain the industry.. We actually should buy more games at full price so that the publishers wouldn't need to have to go to these money making dlc/micro transactions models..

It's the same with Call of Duty; everyone seems to complain about the games and that they are rehashed and have no innovation or forward movement in creative aspects, yet they sell tens of millions every year.

The average consumer doesn't really care about games being rehashes or having no innovation, which is why CoD keeps selling.

That´s the idea but most consumers support this games despite their flaws

You know who's to blame? The casualz. No, really, hear me out.

We as hardcore gamers (some more than others, me being among the "others") know what's going on in the industry, we understand that pre-ordering is bad and forking out money for broken games and bad business ideas (as in, bad for us, not the companies) is bad for the entire industry. We get that, because we don't simply play they games, we follow the industry, read the news and discusses it. Most gamers though, those that always buys the latest CoD's, FIFA's and Madden's and what have you, they don't read gaming news like we do, so they don't get that they're supporting bad ideas. I mean, we can't blame them, they don't care about the industry as much as we do, they just wanna enjoy their games and have fun. But we're left with the mess some one else made.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

"If you don't like it, then you don't buy it."

duh.  no one buys shit they don't want.  but don't be so daft as to think that if you don't like something no one could possibly like it.  everyone who is not okay with this "dlc abuse" already isn't forking over their money,.. it's just those that aren't are the fucking minority.

I do not think many of you guys have actually played Battlefront. It is EXTREMELY fun

Most people are going to buy into these things anything, so simply boycotting it isn't going to help.
