First, I was referring to the end of the year situation which is about the same kind of thing.  Small titles of mixed or poor reception plugging gaps.

But to address your post, I would not consider Splatoon, Mario Maker, Yoshi's Wooly World, Fatal Frame V (despite its niche status a mixed reception), and in the case of Japan Genei Ibun Roku #FE to be filler.  Not as good as last year, still a pretty good one.  You seem to have confused the concepts "games I don't like" with the concept "filler." I would untangle those wires post haste.  The implications of each is quite different from the other.

splatoon released in late may (just like mario kart 8), mario maker is solid. but mario maker + yoshi + xenoblade + fatal frame does not match up to bayonetta + hyrule warriors + smash bros. Both smash and bayonetta were candidates for goty. I don't recall small "fill the gap" titles during late 2014.

The filler was in the 2014-2015 transition.  Captain Toad, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, and to an extent Mario Party.  I wasn't arguing 2014 vs 2015 as much as pointing out that filler between major gaps has been done before, including the 2014 - 2015 transition.  And as I just said, you listed Hyrule Warriors which is well before the Holidays, thus I assumed you were discussing the the majority of 2014.  But I'm not saying XBX + Mario Maker + Yoshi + FF = Bayonetta 2 + Smash + Hyrule Warriors.  Reception wise, Mario Maker and Yoshi are close approximates to Bayonetta (or Smash) and Hyrule Warriors, respectively.  It's hard to say where XCX.  Mid 80s to low 90s seems plausible with the western previews going positively but I digress.  It's a close match, but 2014 edges it out by a bit on Smash or Bayo, since MM comes up a touch short of those two in general consensus.  FFV is a nice bonus for diversity though.

What? Do Nintendo fans honestly think that every game that comes out for Nintendo are suppose to be good?

Nobody should be a blind sheep, all consoles has great games and bad games.  What's not to believe?

Nintedo has gone into filler mode, they will launch fillers to appease the fans until the real games launch for the NX

Or, you know, until XCX launches.  Then Twilight Princess HD, then Pokken, then Star Fox, then Genei Ibun Roku #FE, then Zelda, then...you get the idea.  This whole "filler until NX" crap is just ridiculous. This is EXACTLY like late 2014 to early 2015.  A few easy, small titles to pad a gap in the release schedule.  It's not to "delay until NX."

This is very clearly filler time until the NX.  All of Nintendo's big development teams are working on games for the NX and this is obvious because out of the games you mentioned, only two games are being worked on by Nintendo's own teams, Xenoblade Chronicles, which has been in development for quite a long time, and Zelda, which is most likely coming to the NX as well.  The rest are being developed by third parties because Nintendo doesn't want to waste their developers for games on a dying system and want the NX to launch strong.  Twilight Princess HD is being developed by Tantalus, Pokken is being developed by Bandai Namco, Star Fox is being developed by Platinum Games, and Genei Ibun Roku #FE is being developed by Atlus.  Until the NX is released, Wii U games will just be shovelware and games they paid third parties to develop to fill the time until the NX releases.  I'm not discrediting the games you listed, because the games you listed will most likely be good games, but Nintendo is clearly in filler mode until NX.

I'm a Nintendo fan, and even I know that nothing everything Nintendo makes will be good. That's just the standard Nitnendo set for themselves by releasing games like Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Country, The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, Pikmin, etc.

Like any developer Nintendo slips up, and we get something embarassing like Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, or Star Fox Command.

Right on, so scores like these shouldn't really be surprising.  Yet the OP makes it sound like the world is out to get Nintendo (maybe true lol).  But however it's likely the scores are fair for those games, and when XCX comes out I'm sure the reviews will be better.  That's just how it is.

Those are some irrelevant titles (except maybe for fatal frame) so that explains the low quality

Captain Toad was a filler, but it is one of the best fillers I have ever played, i really wish Nintendo have done something with that level of quality to fill the holidays instead of Crapmiibo Festival and Mario Tennis Ultra Bomba. I'm sure next year they will do better, but I'm still dissapointed. Well at least until XCX comes and make me forget about it that's it.

Well it's understandable why OP would think that way. The media focuses too much on NINTENDO's mistakes, but not so much on mistakes made by Sony or Microsoft?

Eh, not necesarilly.  The media focused a whole lot on Microsoft's horrendous launch of the XBox One, for example.  This gen Sony really has been doing almost everything right and the PS4 is doing amazing, so there's not much for them to criticize them about.

How about the fact that they still haven't brought back older PlayStation franchises besides God of War?

Hello zero. How are you doing? Good alt BTW.

Well, Fatal Frame is not a bad game. It has its flaws (the most annoying is, maybe, revisit a lot of places), but the inmersive controls and interesting themes and simbolism is what makes Fatal Frame a good game. Rodea and Devil's Third are bad games, but it doesn't bother me because they're third party games. Nintendo give them a chance and they turn out to be mediocre.

What bothers me is the quality of Nintendo games lately. You can do fillers, but make very good fillers like Captain Toad. Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival is just an insult to AC fans and a cash grabber. Mario Tennis lacks any charm and it doesn't look fun to play. Only one stadium? If they actually bothered in create Mario-related tematic stadiums, that would do it. But instead we've got this, and it looks painfully boring. I like a lot Triforce Heroes, despite being a filler, it's a good filler and a decent and fun spin-off. They have released good games this year for the WiiU (SMM, Splatoon, Yoshi and Kirby) and they can fix this if XCX is what it promises. But, please, stop doing shitty fillers. Tbh, I don't meet anyone who was expecting this games, so I think this doesn't surprise anybody. The problem is it makes me angry to see my favourite company releasing this rubbish.

Xenoblade will save us.
