You just got a brand new game, but how do you play it? Do you rush through the game and complete it in a few days? Do you play a couple of hours every day after school/work? Do you play once every weekend?

Reviews made me think of this. We look at reviews from people who get the review copy of games a few days before the games are released and I would argue that the gaming experience is different depending on how we play.

I play about an hour a day, an hour and a half perhaps. Sometimes it takes me 2-3 months to finish a game, because I love open world games and they are usually long.
I will be starting Borderlands 2 soon, I am replaying it now on PS4, and I will probably still be playing it in 2016.

When I get a new game it usually becomes the only game I play until I beat it. Then, if I liked it enough, I rip through it again for the Platinum/full GS, and then I probably never touch it again. Very select games get picked up again.

It depends on how good the game is.

I rarely finish a game in weekend or even a week. I like taking my time with a game, otherwise it can feel like an assignment or work.

Depends on the game, usually new games just go on the shelf.

But if it's something I'm greatly anticipating, I start immediately. If it grabs me, I keep playing until I can't or it no longer does.

It depends on how fun the game is, the story and what console it is on..

I usually only play on weekends but if it is on a handheld, I could probably play during the week
and if the game is really interesting and fun, I would play it more often than other games I have been playing for some time

Depends on if I'm working or have school get in the way. If I don't, I tend to rush. Not so much because I want to get it over with, but because I'll have a lot of free time to play it and so I end up finishing it in a few days.

I play as long as I'm having fun. No more fun, no more game. There are exceptions, of course. If a new game releases and I get it, it becomes complicated. This reminded me I need to finish a bunch of games.
