Lol? Are you being serious? Are you REALLY going to compare Fallout 4 too Bloodborne a niche game? Lol you must be joking right? Also Bloodborne is on 1 platform vs Fallout 4 which is on 3.

I mean... I'm not comparing it. The post I replied to is. I'm just commenting on that comparison.

There is no reason to be commenting on it because it's ridiculous....

Oh here, it would take 30 new Xenoblade games to match the sale of GTA V..... let me comment on this ridiculous comparision.

Oh wow that's sad.

Well... Fallout 4 will trounce Bloodborne even on a single platform.

But it doesn't matter, Bloodborne sold great for that team. Some people just think not having epic sales is failure.

What's worse? 10 million vs 1 million or 3 million vs 1 million? Comparing it to one platform wouldn't be trouncing it.

Of course there is. It's an interesting statistic. It's not comparing the entirety of Fallout 4's sales to Bloodborne's. It's comparing a fraction of Fallout 4's sales with the entirety of Bloodborne's. And let's not pretend that Fallout 4 will sell GTA V numbers or anywhere close. The comparison is not even remotely as absurd as you are making it out to be, and Bloodborne is not nearly as niche as you're making it out to be.

If a game manages to sell over a million i wont consider it niche anymore.

Lol? Do you know how much Skyrim sold? It has SOLD 20 million of last year, do you know much Fallout 4 has shipped? 12 million in 1 day. Skyrim shipped 7 million in 1 week. Fallout 4 has the potential of selling 30 million, probably more in it's life time and you're going to be comparing it to Bloodborne which is one platform and is a niche game and you're going to say, "That's sad". Please.

Do you know what niche means? It means that it specializes in a certain market. The Souls games are for people that are looking for challenging games, that is the niche market, and the reason it sold 1 million is because that market has become bigger over time but it is still a specialized market, a niche game.

First off 1.8m puts the 5m halo 5 digital sales talk in some perspective, especially taking off the 1.2m PC ones.

Second off Sony said that Bloodborne was well over 2 million sold months ago, so get rid of that 1m sales junk floating around. These sales will jump again when the game of the year version comes out with the DLC. It is a shame more people have not played this classic though, don't let past experiance with dark souls put anybody off.

I buy almost everything digital (PS4). I also know many like me... i don't get how the % is as low as people claim.

Taking away pc leaves 600k across xbox one and PS4. Not even close to some of the percentages I see thrown around on this site when a game doesn't sell as well as they expect/think it should. Digital on consoles is still horribly overstated

So, you're saying that the % is the same for all game types?
