No no friend, in our make believe reality we're creating for this discussion, the Xbone you buy in 41 years will have been owned by someone who installed every single compatible 360 game. Congratulations, what a find!

However I'm never in a Sony thread, Why do you always end up in Xbox One dicussions?

Also I have every reason to not like Sony, I have been saying this for years and why Sony's other products are losing so much money. I drive Semi's for a living and the first few years where spent moving people, so you get to know how people feel about products and it's reflected in their losses as a company. I haven't come back here because I have a life, the fact that some people don't........ :(

I dislike Sony for how they handled customer service in the past and didn't back their product. Playstation is successful, however name one other sector that is? you can't and  That's because people identify Sony as having faulty products, besides their gaming system.  Ms on the other hand is making money hand over fist. 

raging out about sales is great but I'm over here playing a shit ton of games, yet another reason why I haven't been at this site. However I can see with a lack of games how coming here everyday might be the thing to do. Constanlty going to MS Threads and talking up sales rather than actual games. However you have a nice holiday season, Mine is full of block buster games.

I advice everyone to pick up a Xbox One, You may not be able to pound your chest about sales but you can play some bad ass games.

p.s. Glad you didn't have any Sony products break but when they do, that's the problem I had.

To each their own then. I have to disagree on "the offerings". Where's the japanese game or rpgs? I don't care for sports games or for many shooters (I do like some). Please... don't try to say fallout 4. It's a multiplatform rpg.  Anyway, MS hasn't done anything so far to make up for their failed attempt with that anti-consumer crap. MS tried to fuck gamers over. That's not as simple to make up for as just overpricing their console and changing the price to fix that. So far, MS has backpedaled on almost everything, the usual games being released and a very limited BC which was probably implemented to compete more against the PS4 than to make up for anything. For me, that's damn sure not enough to make up for anything. I won't forgive and forget just over a few games.

Ignoring/forgiving their original intentions and horrible pr makes no difference! You can forgive them all you want they are still stuck with the choices they've made.

Answer me this; presented with the choice why should I chose them over Sony?

First off, why should I settle for inferior multiplats? They chose to go the media route and made hardware with that in mind. All the turn arounds in the world don't change that fact. At the end of the day they are stuck with hardware designed for a different functionality. As a result it is weaker hardware! I don't know about anyone else but I refuse to buy inferior versions of games! Why should I?

And second, why should I settle for a less diverse library of games? Currently the PS4 just has an enormous advantage as far as exclusives go. Anyone saying otherwise is not looking at the full list of exclusives (it's not even close anymore). And it's library is also much much much more diverse. The list of exclusives is just enormously in Sony's favor. And again, forgiveness or not, this is Microsoft's doing! They're the ones who choose to push the Halo, Gears, Forza trifecta at us year after year (all great games but were is the new big IPs), and they are the ones that put in place the horrible parity clause (do you know how many great small to mid tier games x-box players are missing out on because of this shit).

Look don't get me wrong, the One is not a bad systme. It's just not as good of a system as PS4. If your best friends play on x-box you should get it instead of ps4, and if your favorite game is Halo you should get one instead of ps4. But for the rest of us I just don't see it. At this point the X-box feels more like a second console used for exclusives (a few times a year event system like all of Nintendo's). Or maybe the kind you pick up toward the end of a console cycle with a bunch of games to get caught up.

Personally, I have every system know to man (like all of them), because I'm can never seem to let myself miss out on exclusives. Sunset, Ori, gears, quantum break, you will be mine! For these games the One has been 'forgiven', but I will be waiting until it super bargain priced before I pick it up.

Sony themselfs put the latest systemsoftware avaible, you can save system software to usb stick and copy it how much you want..

Sony is guaranteed to have superior RPG's because they have Japan on lockdown. Theres nothing Microsoft can do about this. Sony also takes the lionshare of the third party exclusives. If you value those games you're not at a loss with Sony. With FPS you're definitely at a loss, but not third person shooters. Its smarter to just own both consoles because like myself, I havent felt screwed once all gen because I covered myself.

How are you at a loss with FPS ? other then Halo and the last one was worst of the franchsie.  

True but as owning both i relly feel it was pointless, MS has not offred anything truely must play this gen.  Last gen they sure did and did it early on.  But after two years of X1 ownership i sadly see it was mostly pointless.  H5 was the straw that broke the camels back, was expecting an epic war drama based of their advertisments.  What i got was a destiny sized dissapointment.  

Gears better be phenominal, and would kill them to make a spin offf thats story driven HAlo, the universe is so full of stories yet the games are so barren its weird actually.  

Adding my wiiu experience and even PS4 kinda being underwhelming, honestly really this gen has actually been rather weak.  Huh if you think about it its just an extension of 7th gen, really lacking its own games to define it.  I have hope for 2016, maybe Vr might be the 8th gen defining experience.
