Simply went to Sony's UK store and typed in Creed Syndicate and then went to Steam's UK store and did the same, both being entirely digital with the PC version seemingly lacking a pass to go with it's own price point.

But yeah in the end weeks before the PC version even gets the port it's still cheaper digitally, probably physically too, I'll be checking my local GAME store this week for a new gamepad and possible Steam one too so I'll check to see the phsyical prices there.

No that wasnt for you lol. Id like to know how does Lawlight get the PS4 version still being cheaper from your post when it clearly shows the PC version being cheaper.

Oh he moved the goalpost from digital to physical even though the likelyhood of the physical Syndicate game is also likely to be cheaper, which is what I'll check up on during a visit my local GAME this week since I fancy trying out the Steam gamepad.

You say that it's cheaper to buy console games digitally, but where I live, the opposite is true. Most people I know IRL have never bought a console game digitally. And I know nobody I who has gone 'all digital' on console.

Of course PC games are cheaper, the digital reselling market is highly competitive and at places such as CD keys you can get a digital PC code for 50% of the console version.

It's a different topic but I will say that the math doesn't add up. Platform holders such as PlayStation/Microsoft/Nintendo don't charge anywhere near 50% royalties. The pub/dev make less $ per copy on PC than console, on average.

PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One

then buy a pc and put all settings on max for the "best" experience.

Hardly a best experience without the best console exclusive games. Which are damned to suffer forever under fist sized pixels and slide shows, just because the consoles couldn't cost a 100 bucks more at launch.

I really don't believe that with a cost of 100 bucks more the hardware would be so much better.

Fun Fact the xbox one cost 100 bucks more than the ps4 (I know that the reason for that is something else but still)

For GPUs a hundred bucks more can make a huge difference. An AMD R7 380 is less than 100 bucks more than a 360 and the power difference is 70%.

A hundred bucks more  would've gotten us a proper dedicated GPU which would boost the power by at least 50%. That would at least guarantee to let all games run at 1080p without drops below 30 and a lot of games would've been able to reach 60. And every 50 bucks more would've gotten us closer to a guaranteed 1080p60.

Too bad that people don't want to pay 500 bucks or more for a console because reasons. They pay thousands of dollars for games over the console cycle but refuse to pay just a little bit more to have a proper experience throughout.

I find that infuriating because cheap people are directly impacting my enjoyment of this console cycle.

PC is cheaper. Way cheaper. There's really no room for debate about it.

You have many different competing marketplaces for mostly the same content on PC. On consoles you really only have one for each platform. Not a contest.

Even new releases, there are lots of sites that sell keys to the games that retail for much less. Fallout 4 - $40. Battlefront - $50. Blops 3 - $38.

Hell sites like DLGamer are selling SW BF PC pre-order keys for £36 while GAME and Origin charge the usual, either way someone is bound to find a cheaper price on PC somewhere.

Funny the last two games I bought saved me 5 bucks on consoles in comparison how much money they cost on pc.

In the UK new pc games on steam cost £40 and on amazon new console games arearound £40 so it's the same for me.

There is really just to many factors to say what is cheaper in general, interesting to know.

humble bundle.... is all i ll say... on PC you can make some crazy deals when your getting games.

Newer games just released typically cost about the same reguardless of platform though.
