Another Call of Duty thread. This question's been on mind mind since BOIII released a week and a half ago, once it's time for the series to be put to rest, will they go out with a bang? Will they go back to its roots? Or will it never die?

Who knows, maybe Activision wants to start getting Destiny to be another yearly shooter.

That way they'll make a lot of money.

I doubt it'll have die. Fall off maybe but it won't go with a bang. Honestly I don't get why Black Ops III is getting mediocre reviews. It's hands down the best CoD multiplayer I've played since CoD4: Modern Warfare. I haven't cared for CoD since then. I will admit that it's not really a CoD game and to me, that's a good thing. It's refreshing :P

CoD will end with a lot of cut scene tying all the games together in a mind blowing way. It'll also feature a lot of nanomachines to explain some of fucked up stuff. Like why that guy can glitch back in time and how that one dude can make copies of himself.

Ending:

Masked terrorists enter the Activision offices and kill all executives. 'Merican heroes go after the terrorists' trail and find and kill them, only to find out that the terrorists were Respawn Entertainment devs all along.

Respawn Entertainment devs return to life and Activision execs enter the room, then everyone start dancing Gangnam Style until the credits roll.

It will be called Call Of Duty: The ultimate last attempt to take your moneyz collection edition. CoD: tulattym for short. Will feature all games, no DLC, no microtransactions such as weapon skins and the like.

You know about the Reddit story asking if a modern Marine infantry battalion could take out the entire Roman Empire if  they went back in time with modern weapons? 

The last Call of Duty will be something like that. Modern Warfare time travelled back to WWII, so CoD can come full circle

Meh. They'll probably copy and paste the best missions of all the games into that last game, just like crappy best moment compilation episodes.

They will be like the 'Rolling Stones' who have had a 'final tour' every few years for I think two decades now. They were probably 'last Call of Duty' then the following - so many request have come in from our fans for more games, etc.

But if they did, it should be Call of Duty: Total War where it's just one giant globe, and everyone can fight everyone in one giant mash of battles. Like a giant virtual Earth! (Then they would expand it to the Solar System, lol.)

A group of retired Special Ops just want that damn holiday in Hawaii that keeps getting postponed for "more important matters".

Well too bad world, because Hawaii is on top of their hit list now.

Evade and neutralise all threats to your holiday mission. Leave no man behind; the Call of Duty can just keep calling.

I would imagine it would be like assasins creed 1. Go through the history of the world all the battles. With some guy going into a machine and jumping around. Probably giving nods to all the characters and maps from all the call of duties.

Watched gameplay of bo 3. Was going to buy it before but all that future shit (jumping, parkour shit, suits) made me decide otherwise. Wasnt feeling it from the streams in was watching. Havent purchased a cod since bo 1 and cod4 was the best.
