It's been 15 years, and now we're less than a week away from the release of Digimon Adventure Tri! For those that do not know, it's releasing in Japan this Saturday, 21st of November. It'll be a collection of 6 OVAs rather than a series, and, personally, I think that's awesome because the OVAs were better than the seasons. The first releases this Saturday, while the rest still have no dates announced.

I'm not very knowledgeable on the details (avoiding spoilers), but the 5 minute teaser (It does have spoilers. Be careful) shows a few things. I can say it looks great, story seems rather interesting, and, of course, it's not aimed at kids but at the Digimon fans that were kids 15 years ago.

Heard about this a while back, really looking forwards to it, hope it lives up to the memories of how good Digimon Adventure was all those years ago.

I've been re-watching Adventure 1 for a while now with my sister (we should finish it tonight), and it's truly an amazing series... or season

Like I said in OP, I always liked the movies more than the series, so I have high hopes and expectations!

Wow, they look pretty badass. Like a giant monster movie, almost.

Regardless, as long as Patmon is involved, I'll be watching.

I think it's great that they are deciding to target those of us that were once kids and grew up with the games/series as kids, really nice to get some of that nostalgia back. I've been following it since summer and I'm most likely going to tune in next week when the subs hit the net.

Was hyped for tri. until it was confirmed when it took place. Now I'm neutral towards it because it might end up like Ga-Rei: Zero. I have my reasons that goes from development with staff to confirmed story canon that was a missed opportunity with the 01 characters.

I'm hyped, but I was spoiled as kid by the dub so.... whenever it gets dubbed and if they use the same voices then I'll watched it.

I am hyped, not sure if I watch dub or sub yet.
