An enormous Target store in Miami refuses to give any shelf space to the Wii U. Nothing out on the floor. 

I dont know if it's still available via request but I doubt it. Also, it may re-appear for black friday.

I was actually planning on buying one but guess ill go to best buy instead. 

Anyone see anything similar?

The Wii U actually had a decent october according to NPD. Its not like they have to give Nintendo an entire isle on the store, give them a little corner at least but dont abandon them LOL

All joking aside, Wii U doesn't probably sell well at Target. I mean, it doesn't sell that well to begin with but at a supermarket? Nah, people stick with Gamestop or Amazon.

I thought it was slightly down YOY, 65k or something.

Here in the UK they simply don't stock many, it doesn't sell. I managed to pick up a basic a couple of weeks ago, dread to think how long it spend in the stock room, box was quite dusty when it came out.

Not many in gaming or electronics stores here, the biggest Media Markt has about 15 titles on display in the Wii U section, it makes up about 1/6 of the One and PS4's space. 3DS has little space as well, mobile section keeps growing.
This isn't really new, it has been this way for some time here.

I'm pretty sure Amiibo Festival will save the Wii U.

Target isn't really a supermarket. Sure some of them sell food stuffs, but it's more like a fancier Wal-Mart. 

Nintendo did say hardware sales for October were up 40% for the month YOY
