720p and 60fps is more than ok for a shooter. I'm skipping this one tho.

i can't believe people are complaining about the resolution,.. hasn't the internet been bitching about "the framerate is king" and "anything less than 60fps is unplayable" for years now. so you got your precious framerate now stop complaining about how other parts of the game had to be sacrificed to achieve that holy framerate grail.



also i'm lying,.. i absolutely believe people are complaining. there is just no satisfying gamers these days.

That being said (that the hardware is what it is) at least they got a solid framerate at 720p.  The engine itself is actually fantastic and still gives very good looking results across all hardware.  Its the strongest looking engine this gen so far.  And the performance on Xbox One is much better then the beta.

The general idea, if I understand it directly, is that people felt that a game running at 720p meant that the developers were not optomizing.   However, there is a limit to what a GPU can do.  The real mark of valor here is getting the constant 60FPS as that requires much more optomization.

It requires much less optpmization if your going to hack everithing else.

The game visually shits on almost everything out there on any platform, why is anyone surprised its 720p on X1?

Graphics are more then resolution.

Still an upgrade from last gen. Big games weren't even 720p last time, much of the time.

It looks better than any 7th gen game and does it at 60 fps. But I guess that isnt worth much in world where PS4 is doing 900p.
