I Know that a movie is coming this holiday, but movies are movies, and games are games. There's hype for the movies, but that can translate in super huge sales, or not. I think you are overestimating the movie effect, I thing SW Battlefront is gonna sell on par with past sequels of the same franchise, moderately higher at best, it depends on metacritic.

Amazon Best Seller in Videogames (Top 100):

#2 - Star Wars Deluxe Edition (Ps4).

#4 - Star Wars Standard (Ps4).

#6 - Star Wars Standard (X1).

#7 - Star Wars Deluxe Edition (X1).

#8 - Ps4 Star Wars Bundle.

#10 - Ps4 Star Wars LE.

What do you think?

In contrast:

#18 - Halo 5 (X1).

#54 - Rise of the Tomb Raider (X1).

An then Amazon is only one retailer, this topic is about BF, and even on Amazon:

Amazon Best Seller in Videogames (Top 100):

#1 - Fallout (Ps4).

#5 - Fallout (XOne).

No, Fallout is not the weaker franchise, with or without a holiday SW film. I'll bet in the end Fallout is gonna sell much better than Battlefront.

And you think that over night the Star War games are going to crumble into the abyss of sales?

LOL i really dont know whats your point in all this.

On Black Friday, the Ps4 bundle is going to keep on beasting above anything else along with the Black Ops bundle.

Microsoft usually wins Black Friday because they have more means (AKA money) to discount hardware pretty well. I predict Microsoft. Especially if they discount the Xbox One Tomb Raider or Fallout 4 bundles. Why pick up PS4 for COD when you can get two games in one bundle?

I personally don't think an extra game is enough to sway people to go from one console to another. It might get a few people but not enough IMO. I think what did it for MS last year was you were getting extra games and they had the $50 price drop.  This year though both systems seem to be the same price for BF ($300). I'll probably go X1 cause I want to play with my cousin in Boston online.

I still don't understand why MS released a slew of top games in such a cluster. Doesn't seem wise in my opinion. But yeah they might "win" Black Friday. Doesn't seem like much of a win though when there are 3 regions and you're only "winning" 1 of the 3. And only "winning" that 1 roughly 3 out of 52 weeks.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

This poll just shows you how much hate the XBO gets on this site from Nintendo and Sony people.

XBO will dominate the PS4 on Black Friday just like it did last year. It set a record for most consoles sold on Black Friday.

I was mostly answering the claim that between CoD, Battlefront and Fallout, Fallout is the weakest. My point about the thread is, right, Sony has Battlefront bundle, but Microsoft also have very atractive bundles and still can win, and I think MS will win.

Both can win, but i hope sony win this days/month and december so they talk back with microsoft they have win 2 of the 3 important month + 9 :p

Looking how this month is going thus far, Microsoft if going to have to have one hell of a Black Friday. PS4 is dominating Amazon best sellers chart for November and that doesn't include pre-orders from the last two months. If Sony even has a deal close to what Microsoft offers, Microsoft has no chance at taking November.

Definitely possible

Worldwide ( counting Europe and US) PS4 will have dominated. MS will have to desperately take US by all measures with all sorts of deals.

::Bows down:: Thank you...this is what i've been saying forever. Microsoft is willing to do almost anything to keep American territory because that will keep them competitive against Sony. A win in America is pretty half of the sales battle in general.

Good thinking. Where Sony usually bundles one game, Microsoft bundles two. The Uncharted bundle is still in existence and that includes three games so we shall see how it all goes.
