OP I too think MS might take Black Friday but not for the "exclusive" reason. From the best sellers of most retailers PS4 seems to be leading comfortably. MS really needs US and they will put up a fight.
I believe MS will announce even better deals coming black Friday then the one that are already available. Cause with the deal announced so far I don't see them winning Black Friday and MS needs the US too much to miss an opportunity to sell a lot of Xbox One, specially after realizing that Halo was not the hardware pusher they were hoping for.

Worldwide ( counting Europe and US) PS4 will have dominated. MS will have to desperately take US by all measures with all sorts of deals.

Thats what im saying. Sony is comfortable with the way things are going on sales wise.

They have THREE skus in the Top 20 of Amazon:

#8 - Star Wars Bundle

#11 - Star Wars LE

#16 - BLOPS3 LE

All three going up.

MS may have had a better exclusive lineup in the last few months, but Forza and Tomb Raider are not system sellers, and Halo's major impact has already been accounted for last month. Never-mind it is a much weaker proposition than it was previously.

Who wins BF will be down to price and the better bundles. Of the three biggest franchises that are most relevant this month, Sony has two, Cod and Battlefront, and MS has Fallout, probably the weakest of the three. MS needs to have better deals than Sony if it wants to have any chance of winning. Just like the last two years have shown us. BC and a new UI aren't doing shit.

It mainly seems to be PS4 Uncharted bundle vs XB1 Gears remaster bundle both at $299 with a few small perks here and there depending on the retailers.

But with the consoles head to head in price it comes down to the games. Sure XB1 has some fresh exclusives that just came out but they're not as big as CoD and Star Wars and they're higher in demand on PS4. And with that I feel Sony will win Black Friday.

That's my take on BF anyways.

Well my deep deep instinct tell me Microsoft will win, but my heart still want PS4 wins on black Friday, and my brain actually cannot compute lol

One second, fallout is weaker franchise than Battlefront? Are you sure than right now Fallout can be described as "weaker"?

I think that Fallout is right now a huge, very very big franchise. It's like the GTA of WRPG.

That was last year, this year Sony had a price cut and there are some very good bundles one PS4 this year.

Obviously all now-gen consoles will get a rise in sales i november, no matter what deals there are, locally and worldwide, given the upcoming christmas period and including Black Friday.

But I definitely believe PS4 will getter better console sales in november than Xbox One. Mainly because Sony has more third party bundles, and having marketing rights on CoD and Star Wars will bring a lot of sales on their own!

Can someone enlighten me why VGCHARTS does not update their numbers according to Sony numbers. PS¤ moved around 29 million a few months ago, but still, VGCHARTS does not update them, why?
