The price and the bundles, PS4 should take the sales. But we don't know how crazy either one will go with bundling extra free games.

The lowest both consoles are willing to go on bundles will be $299 a piece on select bundles. This is going to come down to games this year. Appeal is key. People have a point that the COD and Battlefield bundles are up for grabs on the PS4 but no offense (imo)...they are pretty ugly and bland compared to the bundles Microsoft has dropped for Halo and Titanfall (Just saying). They will still sell though, so realistically speaking  my point is Microsoft has games new gamers cant touch on the Playstation and Sony is touting multiplats that both consoles will have. With the Xbox One you will have access  to exclusives and games where as with Sony it will pretty much be the multiplats with some timed exclusive perks.

For hardened COD fans from last gen who are making the jump, COD is going to lack single player, so being that the PS4 comes with a bundle this will help, as well as having early content. Outside of that the XBox still gets the game and the dlc shortly after. A small victory.

Yes but, according to MS, there's a shit ton of 360 fans waiting to make the jump. With BC now being advertised on the 360 itself, they're expecting alot of those to buy Xbox Ones this year so, idk.

As i've said before, a lot of those 360 fans jump ship from the PS2. Sony was the one who expanded upon the overall market of gaming in general. Sony's impact on the industry was so huge that it prompted Microsoft to join out of fear of domination. When Microsoft joined they severed Sony's dominant marketshare in half and took most of their most rabid gamers whom furnished great sales for the 360. Sony has them back and they aren't coming back anytime soon. Why do you think Uncharteds collection has been selling so well? They just returned to Sony and have missed out on quite a bit. Sony even put out a statement as to the amount of people in their marketshare whom have never played Uncharted. They can monitor these things with your gaming stats.

All that has not stopped the PS4 steam rolling all over it all year so why should it now.

Thats the problem with everyones logic. Microsoft is actually the most competitive during fourth quarter in NPD even though Sony usually wins world sales.

Competative as in showing more into the bundle.

The one with more free stuff will win.  Your point about exclusives is whats wrong, they mean nothing on BF.

You're making alot of assumptions without any data to back anything up though. Sony said what they said, Microsoft said the opposite but neither of them showed us their numbers or how they get them. Everything I've read, including your post here, is rooted in plausibility with nothing factual behind it.

Im aware, but the only one worthy of note for bundling was Bloodborne. The order needs to be forgotten.

Tried Bloodborne didn't like it (coming from a guy who platinumed Demon's Souls).  Tried the Order and am keeping it for its replayability which I love in cinematic games.

Why does it matter if they win Black Friday? It matters if they win November NPD and there is no way that's happening.

Why does it matter to November anyways? Do games get better on a system that sells more? Questions over questions...

Systems that sell better get better games, because game publishers care about profit...a lot.
