IS aren't concentrated in a large enough place to warrant a nuclear strike. They don't even get bombed that heavily. Drone/precision airstrikes have to be used alot of the time because they use innocent civilians as human shields.

People know that it's not all Muslims. But people are freaking lazy. Why pick and chose who to hate when they can just hate everyone at once. I've seen many liken the Paris attacks to the influx of Mexicans into the US. Talk about false equivalency!

You can still measure radiation from Trinity (first atomic bomb).

And tens of thousands of Americans died of cancer because of the nuclear tests. Maybe even hundreds of thousands.

The western media are pro American and try to make Russia look bad.  Russia do many bad things just like the US but I don't believe one is worse than the other. 

Atomic bombs work inherently on breaking appart unstable atoms. When these atoms are broken apart, high energy pieces and rays fly out. What we know as radiation can be either gamma rays which can be thought of as high enegy light waves, particles made up of neutrons and protons, and high energy electrons. When these particles and rays hit us they can cause large amounts of tissue damage.

While it may be possible to have an equivalent explosion without splitting an atom, some estimate that you would need about 15,000 tons of TNT to equal the energy released in the original atomic bomb.

Take a look to a great japanese film called "Black Rain" and you´ll see you are completely wrong, black water rained all over the place and it was full of radiation, it was more tragic than the bomb itself since thousands of people died slowly.

But you are generalizing. There are a lot of countries that have Muslim majorities and are pretty civilized. And those things you talked about are done by the laws created by those in power who justify they are just doing the work of God. White people and christians are capable of also horrific things, as proven by history and our way of living, with plentiful murderers and pedophiles roaming the streets. With greed, deceit, anger ruling our society and those who rule us. If you think anyone is 100% correct you are wrong. Human beings are capable of the most horrible things whether they are christian or muslim.

You are just looking at the world from your perspective. Those in power are the ones who define how the world should be. That's why so many germans supported nazism. That's why everyone cares for the attacks on Paris but a month ago nobody cared about the attack on Ankara, at least not at the same level as Paris, because France is part of our western world. I did the same mistake of course, I live in Portugal, and I have visited Paris and I love it. But I know this sudden feel of hatred for all things middle east was just from the heat of the moment. I know our so evolved and almighty western society is capable of horrible atrocities also.

There are 2 billion muslims in the world. A very very small minority uses religion to justify their acts. We used to burn women because we thought they were witches. Didn't we forgive ourselves? All those wars just because of our friend in the sky. The world needs to work together to solve this problem, not with nukes, but certaintly with war, but a fair war. A war that doesn't hurt the innocents that are in those territories. 130 people died in Paris, 250000 died in Syria already. There are innocents there!

I admit the revolt with the murders in Paris did leave me compromised, but i really am sick of this beeing a recurrent issue. I am studying a foreign language in the Netherlands and there are people from countries like Iraq,Siria, afganistan there. Now, the ones i know seem perfectly normal and friendly... but when something like what happened in Paris happens just "next-door" I start thinking that i am in danger because who knows where these guys are? It makes me think that a clear message must be sent. One that ends this once and for all.

Unfortunely, i guess there is no such method without staining your hands. Maybe the solution should come on the point and origin. A friend of mine sugested that religions should be banned from europe... and tbh i completely agree with that. It is ludricous that people are still beeing killed in the name of a religion/God. I dont want to offend sensibilities or faiths, but if your faith passes through endangering your fellow men or murdering them on any level of interpretation, then it has no place in a modern society. You are free to worship whoever you want, but this shouldnt be a collective thing. Enough is enough.

But again... i doubt anything will change and this will keep dragging until its bad enough that nukes or carpet bombing will indeed be used.

The problem is, there is no "clean" way to solve things. I find myself thinking that we might aswell get on with it so we can finally live in peace. I mean we are already taking in the refugee's anyways. Might aswell finish the job.

I know its mean. I am angry over other politics in my home country, so my patience level to terrorists is at an all time low. I am fine with nuking them, even if it means some civilian casualties. From what i know, everyone that is staying is someone who conforms to ISIS, so it wont be a huge loss. If those people don't want ISIS, they should have revolted.
