Will Super Smash Bros.4 get a re-release with all the DLC content on ANY Nintendo console ?

I never said unification of the platform meant anything.

Nor are they 'probably' doing anything with Smash 5.

You are just reaching into hypothetical about their software development which really does not change that having Smash WiiU re-released would be beneficial for them not only on adding value to the NX (especially when the newer characters can attract non-Nintendo users) but building up a larger base for the inevitably better (or you would at least hope) Smash 5.

 

Again, that could be said for any console and any bigger game and its certanly that NX will have own Smash Bros. game. Also you forgeting that NX will maybe have backward compatibility or Nintendo will simple port some Wii U games for NX, or they will realse them on eShop same like Wii games.

Games like Smash Bros, Mario Kart and now Splatoon are "one game per generations" games, and that will not change beacuse of Wii U.

So this is probably one of the best possibilities Nintendo has and will ever have to re-release a Limited Edition of Smash 4 including ALL the DLC characters/stages/costumes. It doesn't really matter if it's released on the Wii U to fill some droughts ,even if 2016's first half looks pretty promising, on the 3DS to get some extra milion sales or the NX to fill the gap until Smash 5 (which btw should probablt start it's development very soon if it hasn't already started ).

What do you think ? Will Nintendo re-release Smash 4 ? would you like them to do so ? When will we get the Cloud Amiibo ?


Amazon has the complete digital version on its website. Well complete with the current dlc.

Yes, but I dont think they will port Smash Bros, Mario Kart or Splatoon. Nintendo also ported some GC games to Wii, and they didn't port Smash or Mario Kart.
