I watched the fight and not only holm knocked her out but completely dominated her the whole fight. ronda really looked confused the whole fight.

I guess I feel this way, too.  I used to be a cop and I actually had a chance to get my ass kicked by an MMA fighter in training (and boy, did he!) so I'm not a wimp and I'm not afraid of a little blood.  Still, seeing Rousey go down like that--I don't know.  It was like seeing somebody I know getting assaulted.  Not my cup of tea.  I used to love UFC at one point.  Guess I'm just not the guy I used to be.

Yeah a lot of people cry about WWE having turned PG now but really I'm far more entertained by people being athletic with good story lines rather than people and their PR teams trying to "out scumbag" the other before going in to actually beat the other person unconcious, I just don't get where the entertainment is found here? Perhaps it's the same as the people who enjoy cock/dog fights, I mean sure there is an illusion of choice that the fighter has, but in reality a lot of the time their manager / sponsers make the real choice of who they stand in the ring with.

Everyone's hating on Rhonda, but fail to understand that even though she got a fall her division isnt competitive enough from stopping her ascent to get the title back again. She underestimated her opponent in a division that was clearly and utterly dominated by her. Rhonda might by an olympic level Judo athlete but she went tow to tow with a champion level boxer. If she fights her fight next time she can flip the script. If not then she will get waste her rematch. Either way Cyborg is most likely coming so they are both fucked.

Cock fights are a hell of a lot more fun to watch than human fights, IMO. Dog fights...not so much.

Yeah, she's not going to attempt this same tactic again, sometimes it's easier to climb to the summit than being on top and keeping all sides secure. Gotta say though; Holm was amazing in this match, a proper boxer for sure and her kicks are savage.

Eh... there wasn't much of a fight though. She tried to box a hands down better striker and was dominated. Ronda wanted to take it to the ground but she couldn't even do that.

I don't think Ronda underestimated, Holm was just fucking amazing that night and frankly just might be better than Ronda.
