Yeah the france security agency has stopped many terrorist plans, in the early 90's terrorists were close trying to fly an airplane into the eifel tower. It created panic and countries would secure their airports better....lone wolves/small groups are basically impossible to stop.

If this is by ISIS extremists then fuck them!

And as bad as this attack is I can't help but fear it's there attempt to get the western and northern European countries to close there borders even if for only a few weeks as it will cause problems in the southern European countries already overwhelmed by refuge's just as winter is setting in.

There where already fears of hundreds dying through the winter but if there trapped in the poor south it could become thousands and since most are Christians, Shiites and Kurds those deaths are what ISIS wants.

I am utterly heartbroken. My thoughts and best wishes are with the people of Pairs and France. Our modern world is a very dangerous place. I think the political repercussions of this will be significant and long lasting, that is to say nothing of the emotional scars on the survivors and family of the victims.

Makes you feel numb and helpless as if there is nothing you can do.
