Interesting take with a particular tone and general awesome quality. Fans of Dragon Ball should see this.

From the comments:

"This eliminates Dragon Ball Evolution from the history books by a HUGE margin."

What do you think?

Watched this the other day and it was very well done compared to what Hollywood did. It needs more Krillen getting his ass beat tho lol

Cell looks like a mix of his 1st form (just the mouth really) and perfect form which is a nice take. But kid Buu is still my favorite villain of the original big 3 sagas. He did not give 2 shts about anything and was actually successful in destroying the world.

Cell looked really good and menacing. No tail action though, maybe for technical issues.

Dragonball Evo was based on the original DB so it shouldn't be compared, it is such a different tone than dbz. This film was amazing, Bandai Namco should hire these guys and give them a budget for a blockbuster release. They should however, probably start the story after the Buu saga and preferably after Resurrection F with a whole new saga.

I rather see things start from the beginning though.

Dont like it. DBZ light of hope does it better for me.

I don't really like human adaptation to anime. It just doesn't set right with me. I appreciate the effort, but a CG movie like Avatar would be best for the characters and voice acting.

I would love to see a live action DBZ, but it would be SO. FUCKING. CHALLENGING. to get it right. I really can't imagine how they could get it right.... But still.

It was better than Evo, which isn't saying much. I prefer Dragon Ball Z Light of Hope. It captured the spirit of DBZ better.

The Light of Hope video is more in line with Dragon Ball while The Fall of Men takes the material to a more real approach and with a different tone.

TFOM feels like a tease to something else using pieces of material you can relate to Dragon Ball, but with the change of tone the characters feel different to those of the anime, making you feel like you don't know them and that the story of those characters that you knew from the comics don't really belong to those of the fan film.

Still, I am up for messing with source material as long as I like what they end up doing with it.

EXACTLY!!! Wow, this is amazing!

Sorry. Didn't really like it. I found the voice acting(?) terrible. The fight scenes were alright considering the budget and some scenes looked really cool and well done.

That was one of the greatest things I've ever seen! Thanks for posting this. Fan works like this makes me wonder how Evolution could have been allowed to happen.
