This is a main franchise Halo game. Halo will reach six million units. Splatoon is only at two million in six months. Halo will finish be beyond that by the time december hits. I don't know what your belief is with Splatoon, but its not happening. Its standing in the way of proper judgement and proper bumbers. Halo is already over 1.5 million copies sold (not including digital). Halo will sell over 3 million copies by years end and splatoon wont even hit 3 million.

Trust me....it will stop where Halo starts. Halos sales wont be the same because of the quality of buyers in the marketshare. Most of those gamers jumped ship back to Sony. Halo will continue to sell over time. Watch.

Jumped ship back to Sony? If we're looking at Xb one selling not much more than Xb og then Halo 5 is still in line for ~8 million (Halo 2 sales). Halo is more or less immune to install base, it'll sell big regardless of Xb one's LTD.

Halo 5 sold 1.5 million in its first week. Im completely sure about this. The XBox might not be as popular this gen, but Halo is still the most popular exclusive Microsoft has.

It will sell well, but that is over time. Right now I just need to mark the sales that they gather by years end. if they bag between 4-5 million before years end then 8 mil is an easy possibility. This Halo will rely heavily on legs compared to the others imho. The first Halo was the first of its kind so the hype factor of the day also sold Xboxes. Today marketing and bundles will play a major role in how well this Halo does.

Second week comparation according to VGChartz.

Halo 5 - 303,753
Splatoon -  248,858

...Halo is already dropped at this level?

Third week of sales Splatoon was at 185,423 unit, and in UK the third week drop was 50% for Halo...

Have you guys realized that Splatoon's third week is better than Halo 5's?

2nd week
Splatoon = 248,858
Halo 5 = 303,497

3rd week
Splatoon = 185,423
Halo 5 = 162,002
