Only USA was $500m day one. That shows one thing to us (read that I believe on Eurogamer), Black Ops is simply the biggest CoD for fans (that's why it is bigger than the last two releases)  but compared to BO2, BO3 numbers aren't that big.

Last US + UK revenue from Activision was Modern Warfare 3.

After MW3 = WW revenue
Before MW3 (including MW3) = US + UK revenue

but anyways, nobody here is denying that they arent getting a cut from the bundle, but its still a software sale. they cant include the revenue from the hardware as it goes to sony.

so BO3 made 550$ million in software, Halo 5 made 400$ million in software, shipped hardware, and microtransactions. which when you look at it means that BO3 crushed halo 5 when it comes to units shipped. 

I think I will never understand the Halo vs. CoD comparisons in pretty much every thread about Halo or CoD^^. Two games which don't even try to be the same (sure, both have similarities but they still are very different if you know both good) and not to forget it's multiplat vs. XBO.

I mean, just imagine CoD would be only on XBO this year or Halo also on PS4, PC and so on...CoD would be probably still bigger but it would be a whole new story.

Well I'd hope so, Halo 5 is on one platform vs Cod being on 5. The October charts show Halo having more pre orders than Black Ops 3 (PS4) regardless of Sony claiming all the shooter fans are on the PS4
