PS4 and Xbox One unstoppable!!!
PS Vita is selling almost 2x more than last year at this time!

Probably because the current extrapolations are based on a baseline that is assumed to be much higher than it really is.

Exactly, you really absolved me from saying this, with the risk for me, to be considered mean! :P

I'm dazzled by the fact that dr vita tells that, without finding it suspicious or wondering about the validity of it, not even in the slightest, he likes it so he accepts it. Since, no price drop... No major game release, what suddenly caused that?

For instance, If I was seeing wii u now, being at 100k unjustifiably, I would get in deep puzzlement and not celebrating!

Of course it's because of what you said: Probably because the current extrapolations are based on a baseline that is assumed to be much higher than it really is.

Something similar with what I had said recently, you know in which thread... Which is being vindicated.

I always thought that huge adjustment back in April was strange.

So, VG Chartz has PS Vita with 12.6m by October 3rd. What would be a more accurate number?

I can't say with ease, because the huge adjustment-up back (+1.3m, of which 1m+ went in Europe)  in april has influenced all the weeks as of now, the weeks with psv having 40k+ - 50k sales (from 25k-30k+), along with the strange 20k+ in Europe!

I've been predicting that Microsoft takes October NPD, but doesn't take November, December, or Worldwide in any of those months. I think i'm on track.

LOL.

The PS5 Exists.

I don't know if I'm missing something here.

Sony posted shipment numbers of 29M+ as of the end of October. And VGC is tracking 26.5M as at the end of October. Meaning that at the end of October there were 2.5M PS4s sitting around in channels?

Further more, for that quarter Sony shipped 4M consoles. meaning they have a manufacturing rate of approx. 1.3M/month. Yet they have almost 2 months worth if stock just sitting there unsold?

Something doesn't seem right with that to me. Especially when considering that in a similar quarter last year they even shipped less consoles than they did this year. And the sales to stock gap wasn't this high.

Almost caught up! Great job!

After pairing the SW with it there will have to happen a big rework on the maths and adjustments.
PS4 shipped 29.3M before October, price cut took place after that...
And NPD usual adjustments as well as other regions data when we get.

Kudos for keeping the work done Machina, but be aware of that xP

Let me repeat...

Ioi is still responsible for hardware sales tracking.

Currently, Machina is only in charge for software sales updating, or tracking too...

I really don't believe those european Vita sales. Basically no one buys a Vita anymore.

You are missing something, although in the opposite direction.

PS4 is at 29.3 million shipped at the end of September...

You are wrong, Sony posted shipment numbers of 29M as of the end of September. So the VGC numbers doesn't make any sense.

Why are you loling? He could pretty much be right.

XBO won't take worldwide wins, but October NPD is supposed to be close, he could be right.

November and December by extension are feeling like PS4 wins right now as well.

Don't see reason to laugh, really.

I'm laughing because what he wrote was intended to be funny and made me laugh.

Microsoft needs to seriously bring the price down to 300 dollars this holiday and have bundles to keep the momentum. Microsoft needs to get to the 20 million range by the end of the year which seems reasonable unless I am missing something.

You're missing the fact that 20M X1 consoles sold would require 5M sold in November and December, which would be completely insane.
