Go Tomb Raider, go! Alas, I shall be patient.

Like the previous one then...

Didn't like the reboot but it at least kept me busy for a day, I could buy this one for $10 on Steam too, maybe in 2017 if this year is a bit less packed than 2016...

But this score is not enough for TR to sell really well on Xbox IMO. I think it would need a 90+ to get a massive communication boost, without that it's a good score but surely not enough to attract new buyers (people who didn't plan on buying this game initially) when Fallout 4 release on the same day. Pre-orders were "meh" apparently (Abdiel even said on Gaf that Best Buy got ripped off if they bought the bundle exclusivity), that score is good but not "tendency reversal" good I think...

Let's hope it sell enough to keep the IP alive at least!

IGN handing out 9's lately huh.

the game seems pretty good. but nothing mind blowing. will probably pick it up on PC.

The games media are utterly predictable and it is nothing to do with the quality of the game.
If people were frothing at the mouth for ROTR, they would have gone to the low to mid 80's. But since it is coming in without hype and expectation it is being overrated. Brian Altano's post on NeoGaf after the review was posted is shameless "Rocketed to my game of the year" crap.....

Thought the first game was terrible and was a fool to get it after seeing reviews, similar to Dragon Age Inquisition. Reviews have been just awful for the past year.

I am also guessing that Fallout will come in lower on metacritic than this but people will generally enjoy it more.

From what a read so far, this game seems better than the first, and thats an awesome news!I loved the first one, and I even dare to say it is slightly better than Uncharted, so Im pumped to play this one!Unfortunaly as I dont have a XOne and dont plan to buy one in the near future, gonna have to wait for the PS4 version next year.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Really? So the score the first received was purely on hype and now its the same case for its sequel?Look, I understand that this game isnt your type of game and this is just your opinion, but please state so.I dont like GTA games for example, but i concede that they deserve every score they get.And reviews were spot on.I enjoyed the first rebooted Tomb Raider more than the Uncharted games.

Nice. Good to know that despite all the fuss and bother about exclusivity a good game has come out of it.
