Hope it's not true. That would be surprisingly low for the franchise.

Edit: If these are just numbers for the US, then that's not as bad. Still a bit concerning though if true.

If we assume the 150k~ figure for the UK is correct, then 1.5m~ is actually believable... I think i'll hold off on more official data though. Hopefully we hear something from NPD.

In theme with what i said in the UK thread though, it says a lot about how strong an IP Halo is that we're looking at the possibility of 1.5m physical sales launch as disappointing

$400 million includes hardware aswell.

Yeah is it in reference to US only or worldwide? If it's worldwide it's not that great but then it would mean they sold huge amount of hardware instead, which is weird. Also it would mean it is the most played Halo games for the first week ever.

Thats what people where trying to say in the PR hype thread with the 400$ million (hardware+software) numbers thread.

In the UK it sold less than half what Halo normally does, in the UK.

Mind you 1.5 million sold first week is still pretty darn good, its just alot lower than what halo usually does.

He mentions its USA only.

Btw, why is someone pretty sure about the numbers and the numbers is in the range of 1.4-1.5 million? Wouldn't the person know the exact number then?
