Forums - Gaming Discussion - Im going full digital Next Year

I only do full digital on games that are very cheap ($20 or less). Full prices games have to be physical.

I went full digital for two reasons. Mainly just because I love not having to do anything except select my game from the GamePad.

Yeah, i'll never go full digital. Can't sell or trade a digital game when you're done with it, like you can with a physical copy.

I couldnt go digital evah... I just love looking at my boxes... Its a very different feeling than looking at your library inside the PSN(in my case I have PS4, and XboxOne but i dont really care bout X1). It really makes you feel that you own every and each of your games.

I am almost full digital, but I pay attention and buy all my games on separate accounts.

Wait... you make a new account for EVERY game you buy digitally? How many PSN-, XBL-, eShop- and Steam-accounts do you have?

Aren't there account limits on consoles?

I only have a PS4, so at least I don't have to worry about the other platforms.

But, yes, I make a new account for each game. It takes a total of 2 minutes, and gives me the freedom to get most of my money back by reselling the digital game.

You can have a maximum of 16 accounts on PS4 at once, but of course it's tough to reach it because nobody really plays 15 games simultaneously. There are always my 3 personal accounts (US, UK, EU) and a few for the games in play. Even if you somehow manage to have more than 16, all you need is a Word document with usernames and passwords and you'll be fine (I have one, no way I can remember all of those logins).

What? You can't resell digital games...

You are correct and incorrect at the same time... That's the reason why I do what I do.

I was thinking about going digital until my ISP instituted a data cap. Gaming will go all digital eventually, but it won't happen right now.

The friend lists of your friends must be a mess if they have to add a new account of you every few days. ;)

Sooner or later you'll probably have more than 16 PS4 games you want to keep, so some of them have to be deactivated most of the time... too much hassle for me. And I wish you all the best that you never lose that word document. ;)

If you ever reach 100 account activations on your PS4, you could reach a limit. But maybe that's just a myth, so good luck: "maximum number of accounts on PS4 is 100 (in lifetime)"

See, you are looking at it the wrong way. Accounts are not for me to use, but to keep games separate so they can be sold later. I always use my one main account to play them. All those other accounts have no friends, no trophies, nothing...they are just a shell with an email and a password.

Once the game is done, it gets sold. My Word document has a total of three games in it right now.

As for that limit, you never shouod create accounts on your PS4. Use your PC for everything. Not only is it faster and easier to type and navigate, but you never have to worry about those activations.
