Odd omission of races :/

Not really, this is based on the original game.

You can expect the other races to really push th 2nd film.

Calling it now. There will be a Doom-style scene where someone's issuing orders and the camera goes up into a bird's eye view and we can see the different troops responding and moving around like it's an RTS, and it will be really stupid.

As for the trailer though, yeah, a lot of that CG looks pretty cheap. The green screen guy jumping off the cliff to land on the flying thing was terrible. Probably just not a very big budget.

If you want Game of Thrones then stick to Game of Thrones.  Warcraft is stylized and is supposed to invoke high fantasy rather than realistic fantasy.  It wouldn't be Warcraft otherwise.  It's like picking up Ratchet & Clank and saying it's bad because the characters don't look real.  That doesn't make much sense to me.

If you're saying that you'd only like it if it were realistic, that's fine, but all it means is that it's not for you, not that it's bad.

On topic, I'm looking foward to this, though I'm not sure how much deep this film is supposed to go into the story.  I want the Scourge!
