Forums - Gaming Discussion - 100 US Bucks or 150 US bucks for X1/PS4 from Gamespot

I saw that gamespot will be selling an X1 for 100 bucks or a PS4 for 150 when you trade in your old 360 or PS3.  So who is on the fence not going to take advantage of this deal.

That's a lot of bucks. Do they have to be from the US though?

LOL, I believe its US only.

Two thoughts?
First, you can make double that selling it yourself.
Second, the PS4 and Xbox One are the same price starting (350), so why aren't they offering 150 for the Xbox One as well?

Sounds like a pretty good deal, although I still need the PS3 to play my PS3 games there, haha... : P If the PS4 was BC, I'd strongly consider it, but I can't sell my sweet special PS3 x )

I agree this deal favors the X1 much better than the PS4 because of BC and the 50 dollar difference. I still have my old 360 that I might give to my Son for him to trade in.

They're not offering 100 or 150 for the Xbox One and PS4. They will sell you those consoles for that price if you trade in a PS3/360.

Oh, I see.

Was expecting there to be a trade in deal, still pretty good though, if you don't plan on playing your X360 or PS3 games

What a very interesting deal.
