Welcome VGChartz. Acting as a revival to the thread created by radishhead, this is the official My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic/Equestria Girls Thread. This thread will act as a hub to watch the latest episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and a way to discuss about the show in general.
WHAT IS THIS?
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a cartoon released on Octover 10, 2010, and initially created by Lauren Faust, and since then, has been worked on by various talented people.
The show follows an intelligent and studious unicorn named Twilight Sparkle, who is tasked by Princess Celestia to learn about the different aspects of friendship. She makes several friends along the way, including Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie, who each represent an important element to friendship.
EQUESTRIA GIRLS
Equestria Girls was also released on June 16, 2013. It was the first MLP:FIM movie, and two sequels were later released as well.
The movies take a different approach, by focusing on an alternate universe where the characters are humans who go to a high school, but otherwise have the same motivations, who try to learn about different aspects of friendship.
Twilight is forced to go to this alternate universe, after her crown is stolen by one of Celestia's former students, Sunset Shimmer. Twilight then learns new things about this new world, and must overcome familiar obstacles in order to succeed her mission.

ISN'T THIS FOR LITTLE GIRLS?
Despite the targeted demographic of young girls, the show has gained quite a cult following by male teens and adults known as bronies.
The fandom has created several websites dedicated to the show, including Equestria Daily (http://www.equestriadaily.com/), Ponychan (https://www.ponychan.net/), and Derpibooru (https://derpiboo.ru/), as well as several fanmade content, including art, music remixes, merchandise, and fanfics.
The show is currently a little over 5 years old, and the discussion still goes on.

The show is great for anyone, and features great characters, beautiful art design, and is overall reminiscant in the quality of classic cartoons.
