Revenue means nothing.

So making money means nothing then.. Umm yeh whatever you say boss.

It means nothing if you're spending more than what you get.

But that was not qualified in the above statement which was a very broad sweeping statement to start with. Also as you would appreciate revenue is the foremost important precursor to making a profit. And then still some corporations are prepared go tolerate high revenues at a loss for a little while to secure growth.

Xbox 360 and Xbox One

Tencent own League of Legends and a lot of other major games so i wouldnt surprised if it's on top spot :). Chinese market is huge, the biggest G-Market in the world infact.
What truly surprised me is Microsoft actually above Sony in gaming ??? Dangz!
Microsoft is like a hidden titan, lol.

Games, subscriptions and digital content.

Ok thanks, Sony still has a long  long way to go before reaching XBL subscriptions users.

Don't forget Minecraft including PS4/PSV, and PC game sales.

The data isn't correct anyway. Sony's game division has a revenue of $5B for Q1 + Q2. Also, does MS release revenue for its gaming division?

because my source depictures the reality more, its source vs source but my source looks more real. Thats a fact

Nope. That's an opinion. And you're offering zero actual evidence to back up your opinion. Just because you think it's more accurate doesn't mean it actually is. Now if you have some actual reasons for why you think that I'd love to hear them...

I agree Ruler is not giving any evidence his charts are more accurate. But still, the OP come with a chart showing MS games bigger than Sony and EA, that's something big and as far as I know, new.

IMO, the OP is the one that need to explain/add evidences:
- If you click on the link, they give a link, and the data come from newzoo, which I don't know about.
- MS/Sony dont give a separate revenue for it's game business, that's estimate. Again it's necessary to back it up.
- I read a lot of time EA/Activision were bigger, Sony have about twice the current gen console market, that's hard to believe.
- According to the ranking YoY growth column, it seems MS was already bigger last year, because Sony's YoY growth is bigger, and because the difference with EA is big. Again that's news.

Still, I'm not telling it's wrong, I have no idea how huge Minecraft is, but it's indeed huge and multiplatform.

how exactly did they obtain these numbers?

Damn 2 companies on the list Ive never heard of. Also zero surprise that Tencent took the top spot
Oh shit and ActiBliz just bough King so...

So this isn't hardware? Thus online subscription, royalties and 1st party?

Also SE higher then Bandai Namco? Pretty sure I saw SE at about 450 and BN at 900. (For game divisions)

I have a hard time believing this chart. Ea and activision smaller than ms and sony on sw Sales?
