Good.
Youth that uses small amounts of drugs should never be treated and punisched like criminals as that just doesnt help,it only helps making them future criminals .
Let us guide our youngsters in the right direction, and lets look at what caused the druguse instead of thinking it started with the drugs.

Who was the person who had this stupid idea? All this legalization of drugs is getting out of hand, in my opinion.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I agree that young adults should not be punished as harshly as ...older adults. But we still cannot just let this all slide. They need to seriously know that this is going down the wrong path.

Most laws are not really about actually breaking them. It is if you are willing to break that law, what else are you willing to just willingly disobey? This law is basically telling kids it is ok to do drugs. Who cares? They say Marijuana is a gateway drug. That is true. Maybe not in all cases, but in many once that drug is not doing it for you anymore, some go on to other drugs.

But are laws against small usage of drugs needed when it doesnt keep the young adults away from it? Most it does is bringing our young adults in a dangerous environment amongst people who are real criminals.

Marijuana is a gateway drug but so is alcohol and other legal substances and at which lenghts we should take our freedom of consuming away to make sure we are never tempted to try stronger things?

I personally think we should offer more guidance to people with bad druguse cause fingerpointing could make them think they cant change.

But i agree with you that we need to let them know what a bad outcome druguse can have.

Laws that get broken all the time are bad laws anyway. This will direct the users to more controlled environments where they can be helped if necessary. It will also make it more difficult for illegal dealers to continue operating.

why the hell is heroin on that list?

Dealing is the issue not possession. It's a nice idea but it depends on what is 'small', a dealer will get around it.

Hmm, pie.

This is a good thing. I get really shocked by how conservative this site is.

I don't even drink Coffee, I don't think it is a good thing. I see how it effects people, but I don't believe the world would be better if it was illegal. So I have a very different view than most all people I am around.

The judgement that 'this drug is good' and 'this drug is bad' is mostly completely arbitrary. As long as it doesn't enraged others, how it is any of our business what another adult does?

Sometimes you all sound like John McCain when he was out trying to ban Video Games. Weird and judgmental about things you do not understand or fear.

This is a good thing for Ireland. I have not heard a single good argument as to why drugs, any drugs, benefit society by making them illegal.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Anyone who has studied the past in the US when drugs were legal would know that legalizing ALL drugs is a one way trip to the sewer.

I actually think it is a good thing as well. At least for some of the drugs. The criminalization and the war on drugs is simply not working. Adults should be able to make their own decisions about this as they are allowed to do with alcohol. Have to make sure it is regulated properly just like alcohol and tobacco though.
