Why do you feel this way?  Walmart announced a $299 Black Friday PS4 Bundle + Nathan Drake Collection.  Seems like both companies will take it seriously.  If anything, given the lead in the US, word of mouth + advertising deals w/ CoD, and Star Wars should help Sony sell quite a bit.

I feel like Sony had already won this month but I am going to play it safe and not call it yet. Usually black Friday is so big that it also decides the winner of the month. But this time around I feel like the best Xbox One can hope for is "to reduce the gap at the end of the month", and that is if somehow they manage to win black Friday. I expect MS to be desperate enough to go "beyond crazy ($250-$275 Xbox One)" this black Friday. And I am still not sure that will give them the win for the month cause Sony with COD and SW bundle is building some serious gap before black Friday.

I was just stating  I think that the best outcome for MS this black Friday is reduce the gap that Sony would have build for the month before Black Friday.

Ahh I gotcha, makes more sense now.  It's possible, but I think SW/CoD releasing this month is really going to be even more of a boon for Sony on BF.  I mean, $299 NDC Bundle + Blops 3 at Walmart is $330, which is 4 games.  It'll be seriously interesting, that's for sure :)

FYI - Target, Walmart, Bestbuy, Gamestop all have both the XB1 and PS4 at $299.99.

Target has a $60 gift card on the XB1, while walmart has a $30 gift card.

Its looking like MS has already pushed their BF deals and they aren't quite as desperate as everyone anticipated. I'm going to learn towards the PS4 winning BF, as last years MCC + this years halo release have already created the vaccuum effect on the typical XBox fans.

So by including those gift cards that puts the Xbox One in the price range I have mentioned above in some store. What I would like to know is that those gift cards, is the cost shared with MS and the store or  the cost of the gift card is only assumed by the store doing it during this period?

Its clearly shared somehow. MS either increases their retailer margins for BF, or negotiates some sort of kickback to the retailers for providing a larger incentive. I say this because its only the XB1 getting the gift card sales, both this year and last.

The thing i find funny btw... is how anyone at all ... ever... shops at gamestop. They are ALWAYS a pile of shit company that rips people off. Even BF demonstrates this by being worse than every other company that has posted adscans. (in addition to only $5 off day old used games).

Forza 5, seriously? :S

Well they have to try at least to still make some money from their exclusives they are releasing in the last 4 months of the year. That just shows how bad it is to have almost no exclusive for the first 8 months of the year. Now they are looking for exclusive to bundle in the holiday, they have to go back to the year before.

Forza five was a launch title I belive. So thats over 2 years then, or exactly 2 years.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Amen, brother.

NDC bundle sold out.

I had missed another ps4 bundle in Gamestop's top 100 earlier.

GameStop:
#1 Ps4 NDC plus FO4 (highest I've ever seen a console on GameStop or amazon charts)
#8 Ps4 NDC
#25 XBO elite
#28 ps4 SW LE
#34 ps4 BO3
#40 XBO FO4
#42 XBO GeoW
#61 ps4 SW $349
#77 ps4 NDC + batman AK

Also, wow. I think even more surprising to me is that Halo 5 is down to #71 on GameStop! This is a big deal considering GameStop represents the highest proportion of game sales out of all sites/stores.
