This time a year isnt really about what the gamer wants tho, most (compleatly pulled out of my ass) console sales this time of year are gifts. When a clueless shopper enters a store and sees huge COD and BF signs i doubt the face Halo would be included would effects sales in any relevant way, just my .02

You have a point but they can also include mcc an dhalo 5 and promote it as 5 games for the price of $350

Halo 5, MCC, and both special edition controllers for 350 would do well for BF

Most people here have also been very open about the absurd launch window: Tomb Raider is a big franchise, but it is going up against juggernauts. Regardless of system, it's up against Halo 5, Star Wars, Black Ops, Fallout, etc. It's the very same reason people have been calling the UC4 delay a potential blessing in disguise.

Yeah exactly... I have been one of those people since the FO4 release date was announced, and am still very shocked they havent delayed the game. In all honesty I thought they would have moved it to December.... even crazier that MS had the marketing to both FO AND TR and they release the same week, stupiest business decision I've seen in a while.

Imagine how much money a developer would lose siting on a finished game for months, and losing the Christmas and Black Friday.

They would have to find work for their team and might lose contractors that could be working on DLCs and jumping to the next game. Not forgeting they have work to do on the PS4 release (even if overseeing the port studio).

No delay is a blessing.

Early next year will look like holiday numbers for PS4.The fall is not even relevant anymore as a selling period. At this point there is no benefit for Sony to be concerned with the fall. They don't need it like MS does.

Lol you must be joking right? Fall isn't relevant? lol, unless Black Friday and Christmas go away, it will ALWAYS be relevant for sales. And if you're saying Feb/Mar is going be bigger for PS4 sales than Nov/Dec I'll bet you that it won't.

Not sure why anyone would be concerned about the position of the NDC bundle the 3rd party bundles are selling brilliantly and the NDC bundle should rightfully be at the back of the pack. The time to worry would be if NDC was the top bundle and only in the 30s.

I think anyone who's paying attention to the promotions at the other big retailers have flocked to the Best Buy NDC bundle deal

$349 for the NDC bundle plus a copy of Fallout 4 and a charging station.

Wow, that is one hell of a deal.  Can we expect Amazon to price match.
