Here's a good article on the current clusterfark over in Syria and the greater ME that Obama now finds himself embroiled in...

Good thing we hit that "Reset" button with Russia back in 2009, right??

Obama is the worst and most passive aggressive president in all time. That's why America hasn't intervened.

You mispelled This congress as "Obama" and congress as "president"

Since when did Obama care about Congress and the checks-and-balance system of the US government?  Usually he ignores it in favor of taking executive action to further his goals.  Obviously he doesn't REALLY want to confront ISIS head-on, and is only trying to bluff the Republicans in Congress in calling for boots on the ground... hence why we're sending a mere 50 spec ops members over there.

US doesn't care about ISIS, they care about regime change. That's why the Republican's aren't pushing him on going to ISIS like they have been pushing for every other war in the middle east. When they were fucking up Syria destablizing the state inviting ISIS in, and provided "Freedom fighting rebels" cough cough ISIS recruits cough weapons, Republicans and Obama were on the same page lol.

You can lump the Republicans into this all you want, but Obama and Hillary were the ones who put their chips all-in on the "Arab Spring" of 2011, of which the current conflict in Syria was a major part of, along with the regime changes in Libya and Eqypt and other countries.  Libya is now a failed state that's become a magnet for Islamic extremists, and Egypt went from being briefly ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood to back to being controlled by its own military forces. And it wasn't until after the events of the Arab Spring that ISIL / ISIS emerged as the growing force and threat they currently pose in the Middle East.

But thankfully we have our fearless leader Obama to draw imaginary red lines in the sand that will be met with the force of a paper tiger of crossed.

"Regime Change" didn't start with Arab Spring

It's about time. We can't just leave these people alone and let them keep doing these awful things, Russia seems to have made a good decision.

As a fellow Muslim, i am not agreeing with ISIS or support it and not to blame them as well. As long as the Mahdi haven't been showed in Mecca .And also,  if ISIS is the real khilafah, God had been bless them and gave them Mecca and Madinah easily. So what  the prophet Muhammad  hadith means about the black banner army that  black banner will come along with Mahdi, is not the current black banner (ISIS, Hizbutahrir etc). Even in the future if the black banner could be from the ISIS it self, the Mahdi have not showed and the obligation to follow the black banner is need to be hold.
So my stand is not  to supporting them and at the same time not to blame them , because most of mainstream media like in  US, Europe and even Al Jazira are tend to be lie as well. I will wait and see,  waiting for the order from the local trusted Imam is the right choice . As for the whole war affair i am fully supported FSA that fight with the Shia. Also the involvement of US and Rusia actually make even worse, because US here actually trying to eradicte everyone , especially all the seed that will come to help the Mahdi, while  Rusia is trying to defend Iran and Shia.

If there is a muslim who still want to support ISIS, my advice is, please not to be hasty, because we dont know the real situation on the war.  When the times come Allah SWT will show us when to fight, just be patient and just help the Syrian, Palestinian, and  Ethopian civiliant by donating,  ofcourse with the trusted local organization on your own country. Dont worry khilafah will stand again with Imam Mahdi and all the Muslim will be united under one leader, and there is nothing that can stop them.  But for now we better prepare with studying more about Islam, and trying to be active on local Masjid.

The US spent 4 years farting about achieving nothing while the situation just got worse and worse, and even more time before that creating ISIS. While Putin is likely to be rather brutal and swift it is actually what that region currently needs and is probably going to involve far less pain for everyone, though it is going to be a major blow to US government pride.

People who think the US were actually trying to stop ISIS must not realize who they're looking at.

I'm talking about the fact that in several months, the top of the line military couldn't wipe out a disorganized army of some loons.

Really? America is probably goofing off during this "war on terror".

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Why would the mighty USA wanted ISIS gona if they helped create it http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/jun/03/us-isis-syria-iraq

because the situation is now pissing off a lot of their partner countries with the mass refugee problem, it is also having a huge knockon effects for relations in countries in that region and neighbouring regions and it now isn't even achieving the goal they were orginally after which was to get rid of Al-Assad. I think at this point the US while embaressed would be quietly very relieved if Putin quickly cleans up the mess they created.

These things tend to go hand-in-hand.

Lol I love reading arguments about these things. They're worse than Xbox/PlayStation fanboy BS. Everyone thinks their "side" is right. But ultimately everyone just ends up sounding like an ignorant a-hole.
