I think what the problem is is that Nintendo is deciding for us what to we can and cant see, ala censorship. That doesnt mean that the same people against that are pedophiles.

Why is hating on censorship pretty stupid? It can be negative or positive. It's valid critisim. I belive this change is valid. But could of been handled better. During the design phase of the game. And not allow it to begin with. A bikini isn't confusing why it was blocked. Over say in Pokemon BW. Gym leader Lenora's appearance.

At the end of the day. This game is being released world wide. It's a waste, to waste your time censoring it, at this stage. VS shooting it down at the build stage of the game. Were no one would even have known. The most money ends up being foreign sales, anyway.  Fatal Frame is an example of it being implimented stupidly. Same goes for Saints Row IV release in Austrialia. It's stupid for the facts of them being M rated games. Were things that can be offensive and not apporite should be allowed. Because of the age the audiance it's going for. VS this game. That is gonna be aiming for a Teen rating. If this was left it. It would of msot likley forced the game to be M rated.

Theres also a reason why Lin in the OP has a weapon on her back; this has nothing to do with any pool. This is an alternate outfit and theres literally nothing at all wrong with wanting a 13 year old character to have suitable clothing. Especially when that 13 YO girl is supposed to be fighting giant monsters.

So, what exactly is your problem with the change Nintendo made to these outfits?

I honestly don't know how anyone can complain. It's a 15, but really 13, year old girl for God's sake. If you are really that bothered about this...I dunno what to say. Are you really not going to buy the game because of commonsense? This is no way censorship. Sorry, guys.

Both designs are pretty bad IMO. The redesigned one is worse though.

It's clearly an improvment, no objection about that.

I think the new outfit is better. Not because of her age, I've seen enough "weird" japanese stuff and don't care about it anymore. But the outfit itself looks better than a plain swimsuit.

BUT! WTF is wrong with her body? Her legs and her head are messed up! Change the outfit if you want, but morphing the character model like that? No thanks!

Once again Censorship for who don't understand it is by the government see Australia. A company changing an outfit on its own game not censorship. Do not see the problem here.

First Fatal Frame now this if you seriously are buying games to get a hard on while you play then you have issues. You want to look at beautiful women go to a strip club, log on to tube8, or even better have your girlfriend/fiancé/wife put on some lingerie and model for you. these are video games. Point of video games is to compete, challenge your hand/eye coordination, make you use your brain. To actually get pissed and throw a tantrum because they cover up the risqué outfit is sad

The character model hasn't been morphed, it's just a bad picture, I've played the game at PGW and don't worry, it's the exact same as the japanese model.
