During the first investor meeting yesterday, it was announced by several sites that Nintendo had more games in the pipeline for a 2015 release that were currently unannounced. Any one of us could have guessed that this seemed a little off. Not announcing at this point would leave next to zero time to build hype and relay details about the games in question, and it just wouldn't make sense for titles that Nintendo would go out of their way to mention during an investor meeting to be so small that they could be announced and released within two months. Investor meetings are when the big guns are pulled out to convince people that the company is going in the right direction, after all.

With the English release of the meeting available (linked below), you can see that at no point in the transcription is it mentioned that there are new unannounced titles for 2015. They do mention that there are new unannounced titles in development, stated at the bottom of the first page of the document, but 2015 is not explicitly mentioned at that time, nor is a specific system. I could see how it could have been mistranslated on the fly though, so this mistakenly reported information is easily forgiven.

Just anticipate whatever is in store for 2016.

I tried discussing earlier that it wouldn't make sense to release a game this late without ANY marketing at all. You need to build up anticipation and such. You can't just randomly announce a game and then release it then again, Nintendo did that with NES Remix, however that was more of a budget title

I always thought that. Then I thought about TP HD placeholder files thingy found in eShop. Then I thoughty Ninty is very unpredictable so it may happen. :P

I think there's a small chance...since some of the games in the files for eu have later released and they were small VC titles which is hard to guess.

Super teeny tiny chance that for the full write up they changed that part a bit after they realized they hinted too much at TP HD already.

They had the new Link model used in store banners in US for weeks.

Also, TP HD could still happen but maybe it would release early 2016 idk.
