I dont get it.

1) if the teacher had to call the cops on her, she did something bad enough that the school didnt want to deal with her
2) Why did she ignore the police officer when he told her to do something? that is resisting arrest, you know how that ends, I guess she was feeling entitled because she is a manor ?
3) she is kind of big, is not an innocent kid, that with the fact that the teacher had to call the cops on her and I dont see what the officer did wrong.

Can someone explain me why the officer is the bad guy in this story? what am I missing?

Can you prove anything not trying?  If you dont try then any view you might have is incomplete at best

Wow there are some....interesting comments in this thread to say the least. No matter how you say it...in my opinion she is a female and a kid. This was complete over kill to be used on a female child/kid. So the situation was that bad to where a cop had to be called? And only one at that...what about the girls parents?

And as a parent especially a father...how could you POSSIBLY in any form be okay with this? Especially if it was your own child? And also who cares about the race of the girl? It is overkill no matter what. Wow.....not sure how anyone can see this video and feel it is okay.

The teacher had to call the cops! and then they were there she ignored their request! how come she is a victim? Dude, crazy kids are bringing guns to schools and killing everyone in there, no wonder teacher reached the point where they call the police instead of the parent, and no wander the officer treated her like an adult, with the recent events in US schools and so many kids with guns people are bypassing protocols when it comes to any type of crisis withing the school. I think there were better ways for the officer to handle the situation, but the girl is not an innocent victim, too much has had hapen in US in schools in recent years.

How do you know that was not done? what if that has not work out in the past, what if the reason she does not respect authorities start with her not respecting her parents at all?

But then the police officer wouldn't have the chance to discharge his pent-up anger or issues on a teenager. And that's not how they roll.

Honestly, I'm extremely tired of this abuse of power from the authority even if the girl was to blame (and she was!). All this excessive violence feels like the state gives them carte blanche to act however the hell they want against anyone, without suffering the consequences of collateral damage because they're the police and their security comes first before the citizen.

you are forgetting the context in which this is happening, the guys that perpetrated the colombine masacre were 17 and 18, that means one of them was a kid, people in the US are getting paraniod about any type of crisis going on in a school, the girl here should have done what the officer told her, schools are becoming like airports in US, anything can scalate quickly since there are other inocent children around, so no one is accepting any tipe of rebelilous behaviour. Note that I think that the officer could have manage the situation better, but the girl is not a victim, she created a situation in wich the teacher was scare enough to call the police, and the policeman went to a school, bad combination to start not doing what you are told.
