Official God of War numbers from Sony (here is the comparison between VGChartz and Sony numbers)

As of the 31st March 2012 Tekken Tag Tournament 2 shipped 1.5M on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
Three and a half years later the game still hasn't reached 1.5M sold on VGChartz.
Definitely undertracked by a good margin.

It probably was already posted somewhere (only saw the overall quarterly numbers), but here are graphs from Nintendo's Financial Results Briefing: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/library/events/151029/index.html

EDIT: nevermind, the thread is only about software. The individual software numbers were already posted.

EDIT2: but still, 2014 and 2015 hardware numbers should be adjusted.

I don't know of any official numbers exist of this game. But the tracking of Just Dance 2015 started on November 15th in the USA, but the game was released on October 21st. I don't know if ioi gives you access to old data, but you might want to review back over that. European data looks very off also.

I guess this doesn't totally fit this thread discription.... but I would assume you should already have the data for this error(granted its the data your sources provide).

There have been quite a few cases of this that I've noticed.  I don't think it'll get fixed.

Sorry for the late reply - thread fell off my VGC Buddy.

That's odd. I'll have to ask Brett but I fear that data may be lost now, because it obviously wasn't correctly assigned to a game or chart at the time.

I do have complete USA retail data for several hundred smaller, old titles that I'm hoping to add to the game pages once I have that capability. Most of them didn't chart so the data was ignored or forgotten about because (presumably) a backlog really started to build up and it all got too daunting to start sorting through anything debuting below the top 100.

Worth asking here then:

Games which aren't tracked at all; are tracked in the wrong place or are tracked in one or two regions but not the third (i.e. NA/JP but not EU), is it worth compiling a list of this kind of stuff to see what you can do about it?

Aren't tracked at all - Yes. Can't add these sales in yet but should be able to in the future.

Tracked in the wrong place - Not sure what you mean. Got an example?

Not tracked in x region - This is probably because we don't have sufficient data for the missing region to come up with an estimate. If official data has been released for that region, or for an overall total, then we may be able to make an estimate for the region. If that game has patchy data for the regions we have tracked then I would probably be inclined to simply add the total and remove the weekly data for these games.

Great, thanks.  Maybe consider making a separate thread for this so this one keeps on track for just official data?  (Or I will make it quite happily).

Re. Tracked in the wrong place, the two that come to mind are - FIFA 13 Vita sales on NA are tracked on the previous year's game for some reason.  Second one is Jak Collection (Vita) was tracked on the PS3 version rather than the Vita version (since the week the Vita version released, the PS3 version charted again).  I'm sure there's more since I'm only really aware of Vita sales.

Since you've put it in the OP, I'll provide the proof:

FIFA on Vita: 0 sales in NA for FIFA 13.  If you compare the sales of FIFA Soccer on Vita to the other FIFA games, it's 2 x as much, suggesting it's been tracked in the wrong place.  FIFA Soccer showing up at #47 in the USA weekly the week of release backs this up.

Jak Collection on Vita: Game released on June 18th, game charted for PS3 in USA on week ending 22nd June, but it didn't chart the week before in the top 75 for PS3.  Seems like the Vita version is tracked on PS3.

So, some other stuff.

Vita games - no tracking:

Jak Collection (see above post)
LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids (or for 3DS version)
Looney Tunes: Galactic Sports
MotoGP 13 (or for any version)
MXGP (also, lol at the name of that one)
Sly Collection
WRC 3 (or for any version)
WRC 4 (or for any version)
Xblaze: Lost Memories (or for PS3 version)

Vita games - no tracking in certain regions

Aegis of Earth/Metropolis Defenders (JP)
Amazing Spiderman (NA - also has only been in Europe from 2015 despite releasing in 2013)
Arcana Heart 3: Love Max (EU)
Dead or Alive 5 Plus (NA)
Farming Simulator 2014 (EU)
FIFA 13 (NA) (see above post)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus (NA)
Silent Hill: Book of Memories (JP - FYI, it charted at #41 in week of release in Japan)
Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God (NA/EU)
Space Hulk (EU)
Steins;Gate (JP - FYI, it charted at #40 in week of release in Japan)
Xblaze: Code Embyro (EU)
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward (NA/EU)

Vita games - missing tracking for certain years

Injustice: Gods Among Us (Europe - only tracked from 2015, but game released in 2013)
Muppets Movie Adventures (Europe - no tracking in 2014)
New Little King's Story (Europe - no tracking in 2012)
Ratchet Collection (2014)
Rayman Legends (USA - only tracked from 2014, but game released in 2013)

Vita games - incorrect tracking in certain regions

Deception IV: Nightmare Princess (Tracked in Europe, never released physical here - no sales tracking for Japan either)
Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus (Tracked in Europe, never released physical here)
Soul Sacrifice Delta (Tracked in Europe, never released physical here)
Valhalla Knights 3 (Tracked in Europe, never released physical here)

Vita games - incorrect tracking

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace - tracked with the sales of the original Ragnarok Odyssey

Vita games - tracked across 2 SKU's

Disney Infinity 2.0 - here (EU) and here (NA)
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 2 - here (Japan) and here (NA/EU)
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 3 - here (Japan) and here (NA/EU)
New Little King's Story - here (Japan) and here (EU)

Embarrassingly I really enjoyed putting that together.

Some of the stuff should be easily fixed (i.e. multiple SKU's so just combining them), I'd imagine other stuff will be much harder - things like WRC aren't tracked for any console; sales for games like Looney Tunes and Space Hulk will be tiny which is probably why they weren't tracked.

But that's the best list I could come up with, for Vita at least.

There's probably stuff out there for every console, but Vita is the only one I really follow on sales here.

Thanks for looking into it, I appreciate it.
