Turns out, you don't need guns to do random shootings.

If I had to choose, I'd take a madman with a sword over over a madman with a gun, any day of the week.

He obviously thought he was wearing a VR headset and was living out some Sword Art Online.

I was talking to a colleague of mine the other day. He spent some time in Europe and told me that in that part of the world, nobody would ever consider that somebody would murder someone in such a manner.

Crime and corruption is very low in the advanced European nations and people tend to just stand there stunned when someone tries to attack them. It's just inconceivable for most of them.

I think people would react very differently in other countries where people are constantly scared. At least they're more vigilant though.

A skilled madman with a sword might be able to wipe out an entire class without anyone noticing unless it's too late. Guns are noisy, and silencers break faster. Steel is silent, and deadly.

I'm sorry, but no madman, regardless of his skill with the blade, would be able to take out an entire class without anyone noticing. Not that it matters though, because I know you actually agree me, you just love to disagree for disagreements sake

i lol'd when you said ''we almost never have incidents in sweden'' Depends on what accidents you referr to

Well, Sweden is one of the absolute safest countries in the world, so what is so strange with what I stated? We have issues with right-wing terrorists right now, but thankfully that is an issues that will dissapear in time, just like it did in the nineties.

Wow, good catch :)

Has everyone in this thread neglected to see the most glaring thing of this entire story? Since when has a weapon EVER been acceptable in a school setting?

I mean forgive me if I am wrong, since I have not gone to school over in Europe, but is it acceptable behavior to bring swords, guns, and knives to school without being arrested in Europe?

If this man had not stabbed someone, would he be in jail?
