AC3 killed 99% of my enthusiasm and successive entries have done little to bring me back. New one doesn't interest me.

Quick rental maybe. Lost interest after unity. Up until black flag it was good. But not anymore. Finally I got the boredom.

AC2 was a very good game. But then AC3 happend and it killed my interest...

Rogue was pretty enjoyable so if you do find it for 20 bucks and end up liking Black Flag, I'd suggest you get it.

I haven't touched any AC since Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. That's the third game out of 9 games in the series. So I guess that answers your question. The shit just got boring to me. 

I had a bit of interest in the beginning, but it never interested me so much that i'd buy an installment, and with the lower quality of the more recent titles, i now have zero interest.

I was interested in the first... i got and completed the second... then came revelations and my other half sort of took over. Played Brotherhood and revelations. I watched bits and pieces. After that came 3 and interested waned on my other half aswell. The convenient jump to the american civil war in hopes of boosting sales really lost us and the hasty finish of the Overarch story with desmond was the same.

Since then the series has been dragging. We didnt play anything else until a couple of weeks ago i decided to get Unity on sale. Its ok... i played a couple of hours... but i havent made a full decision yet. What is already certain though is that the overarching story that spiced the series is mostly gone, replaced with unseen faces and no special overarching misteries or stories besides Abstergo/templars vs assassins.

The series is dragging. Theres no focus or connecting link. Its just games with similar frameworks in different times and usually average stories. Ubi killed it. I dont see how it can come back.

I like AC4, but that was only for the pirate aspect. I always though the series besides 2 was mediocre.

Yeah maybe I'll play Rogue (I did buy it for 20$) but I wish they ported it on PS4 since that's where I'll be playing Black Flag and going back to last gen will be rough.

Yeah I understand, although Black Flag and Rogue don't have that huge of a difference like Rogue and Unity, since it's a port.
