How is wiiU > 60k? 110% increase from 42.5k (estimate of August) is roughly 86k.

The increase was for weekly averages, not for the whole month.  Not sure how that changes things, as I don't recall if last month, and this month, were 4 or 5 weeks.

110% increase MOM.

If 110% was the weekly sales increase, then, Wii U was 112k in September.

Where did we get the 110% increase MOM, anyway?  Didn't see a source posted here.  Just that all HW saw a double digit increase when looking at weekly averages.  That's an increase of at least 10% per week, not 110%.

Ok.  Either missed that, or it wasn't posted here, yet.

Now watch as the entire VGC data for September gets posted within the next 4 days now that the NPD numbers have been officially revealed, to go along with Media Create/Famitsu's Japan numbers. :P

I have no problem with them moving to a monthly updating policy, as that would improve the accuracy of numbers when they are initially posted, which of course means fewer adjustments later on. I just wish ioi would be transparent about adopting a new approach to timing of updates. That way I can stop visiting the site ech day looking to see if numbers have been posted yet. Perhaps I should stop anyway except on key days for other sales reporting. That way this site gets less advertising revenue from me, which it doesn;t deserve until there is clarity about what is going on with the chartz.

Or you should enter once a month like 1 week after NPD...

and there is no fun in seeing NPD+Japan numbers with just a correction factor if it's done only after it with no weekly number.

Wii U is >60k. 86>60. In my post I calculated the absolute minimum, using the "double digit increase of average weekly sales for the XBO, PS4 and the Wii U" from the Venturebeat article, because this was before Nintendo had released their PR. I was just calculating the lowest all three consoles could be, based on that, because until we get better info (which, for the Wii U, we already have) that is the best info we've got.

Skylanders is dead and LEGO dimensions bombs as neither make the top 10 in the US.

That's already happening with other people,if you look the steep decline  of vgc in alexa rankings, obviously due to the lack of numbers/updates,delays e.t.c...

I'm very curious to see if things rebound someday, will vgc retrieve its popularity? The drop of vgc is really depressive, going from 10k globally,to 20k and that not in a big time interval...(this demonstrates that vgc attractions is the numbers, not the community, and that in a great extend)

The downtrend continues, whilst ioi sadly shows deliquency(which affects the members too,not just the visitors)...In the end, here we will be only the eager vgc members.

So, Happy Home Designer did about 50% of New Leaf's opening week. Not bad for a cheap spin off.

Wii U hardware is finally looking decent thanks to SMM, which performed better than I expected. I think it outdid Splatoon on its first full month or at least matched it.

PS4 at first is not really a big surprise, I'm more impressed by how close the XB1 is... It might actually win the October NPD.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

So whats the reason for the Forza Flop? Is it,
American's are over Racing Games or
To many Forza games already this generation

Forza is one of Microsoft's TOP franchises and it can't even chart? It was advertised in America quite a bit, and using the UK numbers, ie a reminder that UK loves racing games, Forza 6 sold less than Forza 3, 4, 5, and Horizon 2. That's a flop.

It's no GT.

How close is the X1?
