wtf? No!

destiny can't Even be forth with Bundle sales. It Sold only 16% of original destiny in the uk Launch week.

and we don't know if Forza flopped or not. Uncharted Collection won't Chart either in october. That dies Not make it Flop

Why people can't deal with Forza flopping... it happened... nobody expect a remaster do well but a main line franchise dropping so much in sales like Forza 6 is really a flop scenario.

Destiny had the top seller bundle SKU in US in September... PS4 version even outsold the Xbone version if you include bundles... so yes Destiny can be way high in this chart.

nba sold 4 million

So, are we not going to talk about the Nintendo numbers? Do we really not care about them anymore? Lol

Nope we are only talking about the new NX hardware spec :).

dont own a Nintendo but hope it works out really well for them, and didnt they have good software sale this month ?

Seems like it to me. Looks like Super Mario Maker sold very well, plus a 110% increase in Wii U sales from August. Still overall terrible sales but that's still a nice boost. I mean, I'm not complaining that no one's talking about it, I'm just surprised because it seems like Nintendo sales are usually discussed quite heavily in these threads. I guess people really have lost all interest in anything Wii U-related.

Now watch as the entire VGC data for September gets posted within the next 4 days now that the NPD numbers have been officially revealed, to go along with Media Create/Famitsu's Japan numbers. :P

I also just noticed how the Wii U is completely flat YoY. That's kinda funny lol.

How is wiiU > 60k? 110% increase from 42.5k (estimate of August) is roughly 86k.

The increase was for weekly averages, not for the whole month.  Not sure how that changes things, as I don't recall if last month, and this month, were 4 or 5 weeks.

Sneaky MS PR again.

No. Xbox one is up yoy

xb1,ps4 and wiiu combined Are down yoy

mostly because of The ps4, Who Sold 550k Last Year and Way less This year

It's down Sept 14 vs Sept 15, which is what people are talking about, and of course that MS PR somewhat mislead people into thinking it would be up YoY for sept. From the venturebeat article, so as to end all speculation, "But the analyst did point out that, for once, it wasn’t just the Xbox 360 and PS3 that experienced big drops. Even the Xbox One and PS4 didn’t sell as well as last year."

http://venturebeat.com/2015/10/19/september-2015-npd-ps4-wins/

OK, done. It is black and white both PS4 and Xb one are down relative to last September. This was quoted earlier in the thread, but to completely close of this line of discussion it's worth quoting again.

I see VB corrected itslef on the MGSV bundle claim. I thought it was odd because I thought the MGSV bundle wasn;t available in the USA. But I didn't think to mention it as a possible error.

110% increase MOM.

If 110% was the weekly sales increase, then, Wii U was 112k in September.

you cant know if uncharted collection will chart or not.  Also it is still a remaster unlike forza 6 so its not komparabel at all.

i know

okay what about This. If The Next Gran tursismo will Launch in November or december, it wont Chart in the npd top 10 and that does not make it A sales failure

No top 10 in USA, no problem... not charting on Europe, that is a problem.

I have no problem with them moving to a monthly updating policy, as that would improve the accuracy of numbers when they are initially posted, which of course means fewer adjustments later on. I just wish ioi would be transparent about adopting a new approach to timing of updates. That way I can stop visiting the site ech day looking to see if numbers have been posted yet. Perhaps I should stop anyway except on key days for other sales reporting. That way this site gets less advertising revenue from me, which it doesn;t deserve until there is clarity about what is going on with the chartz.
