I used to have a PSP (it broke), and I want a PSV (as an emulation platform, and for the games - I count a dozen titles I really want).

That's related to which console is first in your prefences if wii u is first then you're a Nintendo fan,if it's not and xb1 or ps4 is,then you're a sony playstation fan or Microsoft xbox fan and a Nintendo gamer/admirer together!:P So I would like a maybe option in the poll!:P

Sorry, I have to disagree here. I prefer my PS4 to my Wii U. However I buy Nintendo consoles every gen, because I love their games. Zelda is my favourite franchise. I think there are one or two Zelda games I have't played yet. The fact that I like my PS4 more, does not mean I'm not a Nintendo fan.

I didn't not say that...I just put my point of view,if someone plays nintendo games it automatically means that he is a fan of Nintendo...?By the way,Fan comes from fanatic ,fanatics usually are intent to one specific thing... perhaps, not.

Again,I'm not implying by my post that someone who has nintendo consoles and other antagonistic consoles, and prefers most that console over Nintendo's,can't be a Nintendo fan,(I consider that here the question is the scale not if you're fan or not,in my opinion the title's wording is misguided,as the opposite of true is fake...)

I'm saying that for me that guy is a Nintendo gamer/admirer instead of/more than a fan..My brother loves and plays Nintendo games, but he prefer sony consoles so he is a sony  fan and by extend its games, he doesn't identify himself as Nintendo fan...

Would you fight with a sony fan, defending Nintendo? :P

No and you also need a picture of Miyamoto in your room and pray for him every day, otherwise you are fake

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed by now many people said no. I thought VGChartz of all places would be cooler about what's a really obvious question.

"Can you be a true Pixar fan if you like other movies?"

I really don't understand this website sometimes.

According to Cambridge Dictionary :

Fan: someone who admires and supports a person, sport, sportsteam

Fanatic: a person who is extremely interested in something, to a degree that some people find unreasonable

You're a fan or you aren't. That has nothing to do with fanaticism.  Not all Nintendo fans consider themselves to be Nintendo fanboys.

Of course, if you buy alot of nintendo games and know alot about nintendo history then if you get a different console then you're still a true fan

Nintendo has no Third Party, a gamer plays games and no third party means you're missing out on too much and by the definition are not a hardcore gamer. Love Xenoblade and Zelda, so I consider myself a fan of Nintendo, but I could not only own a Nintendo console until they get 3rd party

Anime and Studying is life RN

Certainly.

Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, Yo-kai Watch, Bravely Default/Second, Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Shin Megami Tensei, etc.

Not to mention games like Mario & Luigi, Luigi's Mansion, SSB4, Pokken Tournament, Star Fox and Genei Ibun Roku #FE are/were made by third parties.
