Forums - Microsoft Discussion - 343i Details Banning Procedures in Halo 5

The ranking system in Halo 5 is solely based on wins and losses, so it looks like 343i will be cracking down on the following behaviors:

1.) leaving a game early

2.) killing teammates

3.) not playing (AFK)

4.) killing yourself

5.) excessive disconnects

I like this and I don't understand how someone could complain about their banning procedures, but I've already seen a lot of complaints about the policies. What do you think about the ranking system (detailed in link, but briefly explained above) and the banning procedures?

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Killing team mates can be a tricky ban so I hope they balance it, otherwise I think it sounds reasonable.

Thank God I'm not getting this. If I played a game I could kill my teammates, I would. I blow myself up If I get bored... Not playing? So if I want to be a sniper and I like chilling out and waiting for an enemy I can get banished?

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

That's why they have single player campaign.

You shouldn't be ABLE to kill teammates. I had forgotten you could even do that after moving over to COD for a year or so. When I got my 1TB Xbox One with the MCC, I was stunned to rediscover the horror of team killing.

It's my belief that team killing needs to go for all online FPS. As long as it's there, there will always be some d-bag walking around, blunting you from behind and taking your weapon. It's garbage.

You would not get a ban for that. Only way you can get banned is;

a. Kill teammate to grab sniper

b. You literally stand still without moving or shooting.

You should probably start away from multiplayer games all together. I am not a big fan of multiplayer, but when I play it, I hate those types of behaviors.

Well if that's the case, then I'm also thankful that you're not getting this.

Well...I think the whole online community is glad you aren't getting it if that's how you would play. And you wouldn't get banished for sniping.

Thank you! Know I know the first things I should do when I try the game, much appreciated
