If Nintendo went bankrupt and shut down. I've played XB and PS and was extremely bored, most of the games on those consoles are shooters and shooters just aren't my thing (Few exceptions, like TF2 and Splatoon)

On the playstation 4 there are 74 games out of 787 with "shooter" in the genre, many of these aren't even the traditional first/third person shooter but infact games like resogun, pixeljunk shooter and so on.

But, even if you count ALL of those as being "shooters" you still end up with less than 10% of the consoles overall library, being "shooter" 10% certainly isn't "most", and I'm pretty sure if you take a minute to check the xbox one, ps3, xbox 360, vita and psp too, you will find similar results.

If you don't backup your claim convincingly, or choose to ignore it and not respond, I'll be forced to assume you posted it with the intent to bait users and hand out an infraction.

unless it is a matter of life and death 💀, I don't see myself quitting gaming anytime soon.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

If it ever goes all digital I'm gone and without hesitation.

Well i am 30 now and i spend maybe 10% of the time gaming that i did when i was 15.For many people it's something that you progressively spend less time with as your priorities and responsibilities in life change.I couldn't see myself giving it up though.

If God of War 4 disappoints me I'll be done with gaming. I'll sell everything gaming related and take up knitting or perhaps buy a dozen cats and dedicate my life to looking after them... I hope GoW4 is good.

If all the games released need DLC to make it more complete, if games turn into pay-to-win with an onslaught of microtransactions or if all games turn digital forcing us to stay online to play them properly... then I'll leave gaming forever. I wouldn't take this shit from Sony or anyone.

Any of a few things would have me quit:

1. Nintendo goes mobile, stops making hardware.
2. The whole industry (Nintendo included) goes subscription based.
3. Single-player games die off.

The worst situation I can see for me is just keeping replaying what I already have.
