Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Famitsu gives The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes a 9/9/8/8 [34/40] So probably a meta of around 85 eventually?

Famitsu review scores are completely irrelevant. They are all over the place and so unreliable that there's no point in trying to use them to be able to tell anything about the quality of a game. Wait for western reviews.

Quoted for the ugly truth. Although, reviews from American and European publications aren't that reliable, either. It's just that Famitsu is especially untrustworthy.

Famitsu scores mean nothing. I expect Triforce Heroes in the 70s.

I was expecting 80-81 because 70s seems low for a "Zelda" game, but you could be right, and will be the best for the franchise.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Yeah, I stopped trusting them when they gave Final Fantasy 13 a perfect score... : /

Wasn't that FFXIII-2 ? IIRC they didn't give FFXIII a score because it was too good to get one.

Edit : Just checked XIII got 39.

Famitsu scores are random.

While I agree that western review often don't neccesarily give an accurate picture, for the most part, you can look at a game's metacritic and know if a game is of good or bad general quality. The same cannot be said for Famitsu.

Hmm, I coulda sworn it was a perfect score... I just remember it being way too high, like I was just shocked...

They didn't give FF13 a perfect score. (not to mention that perfect scores aren't a thing, they don't exist)

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Man I remember when famitsu was like the holy grail of scoring in the 6th gen. How things have changed.
Still really excited for this game though

Worst in the series. Burn it alive. Poor reception since reveal. /s

Famitsu gave Devil's Third a 32/40, didn't they?

Yeah, I was noted of my mistake. One of my friends told me that, haha... 13-2 did get a perfect score from them, though o:
