"UC Collection didn't do *that* bad" in my opinion this means not that bad, but still bad.
but ok now I know what you mean.

Looks like Nathan Drake Collection was more than doubled by The Master Chief collection's 1st week. Not too good seeing as how its Sony's 1st party exclusive for the Holidays.
KiigelHeart said: ~40k is ok so I wouldn't say it flopped, but it's lower than I expected. Good collection of games for bundling though and it should have some legs. |
Of course it will have legs because of the bundling.

What would make people pick the bundle with the Nathan Drake Collection over a different bundle?
The PS5 Exists.

Since the PS4 has zero competition this gen, and the salt has to come through somewhere ;)

Price, advertising, word of mouth?

So you're saying the Nathan Drake Collection will sell consoles.
The PS5 Exists.
I think people expected way too much from the uncharted collection. The franchise delivers a quality blockbuster experience and its one of the PS3's bests exclusives, but i don't think it has the same "must play...game of a generation" hype as The Last of Us, who's performance is an anomoly amongst re-releases.
