I hope the cut makes a huge splash, so that MS and Nintendo respond with cuts of their own. I don't want bundles, I want price cuts. And then bundles

I don't think at this point neither companies will bother to respond to the PS4's price cut. If I remember right, Phil Spencer said a few weeks ago that Microsoft is not trying to beat Sony's sales numbers anymore. They just want to make the Xbox an amazing console for their customers.

This is business, in a situation like this you have to respond in one way or another. These are the rules of competition, you either play the game or you die, cause you are forced out of the market.

It's obvious that MS can't cut the price to a ridiculous level, they have their costs, but on the other hand - they cannot afford to be outgunned by PS4 so badly. I expect either a cut (at least $30) or MS sweetening the bundles they are releasing. I think they're going to repeat the deal from last year, where you could select one extra game on Live! for free. Maybe both. Still, they have to react. I am very happy that MS is pressuring Sony after all and is forcing them to step up their game, I hope they keep at it with an incoming revision of the ridiculous build of the Xbone and a pricecut.

Nintendo on the other hand... Oh, who cares! I couldn't care less about what they are doing outside of releasing the NX. A price cut is always nice, but there is no way it would be beneficial for them, so they might as well stay at the current level and ride this gen out.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Very good numbers

yes. what do you think, more than 400.000 or 450.000 ?

I would be very glad with a very round 500k month.

I read the resonant title, came to read the opening post, thinking that this is news, realised that it's a plain assumption/opinion,then disappointment...

Excessive enthusiasm...:P

Amazon ranking isn't pure assumption... and enthusiasm is always good.

It only did like 220000 last month and that was with Destiny and MGS5. I don't think it'll do 400000. I put my vote in at 350000.

What did it do last Oct.?

lol, that's true. I got ahead of myself. I should probably revise then because I think the destiny bundle could do 350000 it self. Oh well. Thanks Gribble

Most of those PS4 bundles are just preorders and those don't count towards NPD, I think you will be disappointed by the actual numbers.

You mean like the TLOUR bundle (currently ahead of the Halo Bundle, the Nathan Drake Bundle (currently ahead of the Halo Bundle) and the Destiny Bundle (currently just behind the Halo Bundle but gets restocked tomorrow)? Or are you thinking of the Star Wars Bundle and the Black Ops Bundle?

Yes I'm talking about 2 Star Wars Bundles and Black Ops Bundles, but mostly the Star Wars bundles. Been watching the charts and the Star Wars bundles are doing really well.

I've been watching it too. The two PS4 bundles that DO count towards this month (it was until recently 3) have been above the Halo bundle constantly. This is from 3 hours ago:

#12 PS4 TLOUR Bundle (up 1)*
#27 PS4 Star Wars Bundle (same)
#31 PS4 Nathan Drake Bundle (down 2)*
#35 XB1 Halo Bundle (down 3)*
#51 PS4 Black Ops Bundle (down 2)
#57 PS4 Destiny Bundle (up 3)*
#74 XB1 Forza Bundle (same)*
#92 PS4 Star Wars Standard Bundle (down 3)

It's been that way all month so far. IF it stays that way for the remainder of the month it's likely the PS4 will win.

Ps4 sales will be very impressive worldwide, I still think NPD will show an X1 victory for this month however. The bundles at#14, #43 & #64 are preorders for next month as well.

Hopefully the site starts getting regular updates soon, but I wouldn't count on it.

nope, vgchartz is a forum oly site now, thishas become obviousthat the chartz are no longer  maintained! Maybe they lost their contacts....

Well it changed just recently but a couple of days ago the Star Wars bundles were dominating.
