-Digital only.
-16gb big.
-Own an 8gb Wii U.

How am I suppose to be excited for this?....Fck Nintendo.

Buy a harddrive.

It's ridicoulous that on top of buying the system and the $50 game, one would also have to buy a storage device just to play a single game.  No consumer should ever have to be in this situation.

What ever happen to Reggie with his big speech about "a physical option will always be available"? Such bs.

You must be young. Or atleast young enough to not remember the PS1/N64 or even PS2/Gamecube/Xbox eras... where we were asked to buy extra storage all the damn time. Hell most of those systems it was required to play even one game.

That storage device has more uses than storing one game though. You're the one who cheaped out on the 8GB model.

You've completely disregarding the point about Nintendo's flaw only to say that I cheaped on getting the cheaper model but when in reality it's Nintendo that cheaped out on us with their cheap models and low storage space.

Once again you always come to defend Nintendo calling me out on being cheap.

Btw, I got the 8gb Wii U as a gift so eff you!  I guess if anybody gets you some low-end tech as a gift you tell them that they cheaped out right?

*I shouldn't get band for this because clearly you're calling me out on this.

From the PS1/N64 to PS2/Gamecube/Xbox era the only game I recalled needing storage was Final Fantasy XI which they at least provided with an HDD.  Other than that I don't recall or have any games on those system that required extra storage.

Can you please list some examples of games that required extra storage that we had to purchase for each of the consoles you've listed as I'm curious.  I didn't even know you can hook up a storage device to PS1 and N64. :/

You...never had to use memory cards?

Actually, you needed memory cards to save data for the PS1 and 2, though just 1 or 2 were needed most. Some N64 games needed the memory pack thing, and the GC needed cards too.

Though I still think it's stupid that now more memory is needed to play one game on the Wii U cuz Ninten didn't bother to add more storage, or make a physical release!!!... >: /

It's a very niche game, I've never seen people complain about so many Vita games being digital only in the West.

I'm pretty sure there have been complaints about that, especially when combined with the expensive memory cards, but at the end of the day most people are probably happy about getting those games at all.

Are you kidding me right now? The PS1, PS2 and gamecube all required memory cards. They did not have built in hard drives. The Xbox had like 10 mega byte hard drive! The PS2 hard drive was sold separately and didn't come out till the last couple years of the system! Numerous N64 games required memory cards (the hole on the bottom of the controller was originally meant for memory cards) Turok, perfect dark, Blast Corps, the list goes on. How do you not know this?

Well, I can't really speak for Vita owners haha. I haven't really had issues with space size on it myself.

Why i should be excited about this? some of nintendos only exclusives which interests me and its digital only, heavily delayed and no marketing whats so ever.
Games like these should have been allready out and marketed to the more mature gamers as system sellers. Thats exactley why i wont buy a wiiu for now, because of the way nintendo treats its own exclusives not made by nintendo.
