Because I'm tired of the hipster anti-EA hate. What I am saying is if this game was published by EA, would you blindly give it the same hype and praise?

I myself was really looking forward to Battlefront, Halo was probably right behind it on my want list. Though I've enjoyed my time with the Battlefront beta, it hasn't lived up to my high (and baseless) expectations. Halo on the other hand, just keeps looking more and more promising. I can't wait to get my hands on it! I'd say Fallout is the other game I'm looking forward to more.

Agreed. I actually think people would've appreciated Battlefront more if it would have had another name since people expect another game than it is. I will still get it though because it seem great :).

In what way shape or form is my praise for Halo 5 blind?
I've played the game and the entire series, I really enjoyed it. I've gone in depth with learning about the story, I'm extremely interested in finding out more. I'm getting constant updates on how the game will run, I'm satisfied with the work put into it. I just can't say the same about Battlefront. It is not a fun game to me.
Multiplayer shooters that I have found extremely fun from EA this gen are Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and Titanfall. Peggle 2 is my favorite puzzle game of all time. I play Madden every time friends are over and I will buy Mass Effect Andromeda day one. So you coming in here making assumptions about how I feel towards a company are completely out of thin air and ridiculous. People have different opinions on specific games. Get over it.
These are good news for people who are waiting this game because it means it wont be delayed.
For what i've seen it has more in common with call of duty than with previous Halos. I didn't like Halo 4 so i have no interest in Halo 5, for me this saga died when Bungie left it.

Why do you care so much about how someone spends their own money? If they want to play Halo 5 over Battlefront, so be it. After playing the Battlefront beta and Halo 5 beta, I can say Halo 5 has me much more excited. Btw, I own more EA titles than any other publisher this gen so it has nothing to do with EA as a publisher.

Honestly I haven't seen anyone blindly praising it, Just seems you're salty over people criticising EA.

ehh H5 is more Halo than H4 was, H5 and Reach (bungie made game) seem to have a lot in common imo
