If Microsoft didn't screw their reveal in literally every conceivable way, the charts would be a lot more even.

PS2 days were essentially an onslaught. If Microsoft did not enter the game and money hat some games with Xbox, it would have been even more savage.

In America, UK possibly.  WW, unlikely.  It took Sony fucking up royally with the PS3, for them to have to equal the 360.  Remember, the 360 was (and still is) way ahead in the US...but RoW Sony owns.

And now think how many indie developers are kept alive by Steam.

That's just it though. Microsoft not fucking up could have kept their momentum up from 360. I'm not saying Microsoft would start dominating, just that the charts wouldn't be quite so dominated by Sony.

Yeah, PS3 is THIRD in the US. Think about that for a second... that's... crazy.

Just not messing up wouldn't have been enough either, they would have needed an advantage over Sony to keep that momentum going. In other words an Xbox that is vastly superior or equal and much cheaper than PS4. I don't see any way they could have done that. Xbox 360 did well but Playstation is still the stronger brand.

My baby is flourishing .
